Enable the material availability check for production orders that are operations scheduled
At this stage, the material availability check is only available for production orders that are job scheduled. There is not really a good reason why operations scheduled orders would require a different process. Please enable the functionality for the operations scheduled production orders.
Ability to override the production reservation settings per item on the BOM
Currently, every time a production / batch order is created, the production reservation is initialised by a production parameter and applied to all the BOM lines of that order. If you need to, you can open the BOM line and change the reservation setting for one particular line (highly inefficient...

Return from Line / unpick
In the proces industry we are often using the flushing principle "Avaliable on location". We also use staging concept and pick complete LP´s to the prod in location. However due to yield and over and under production we are not always consuming according to work and we want to return fro...

Porduction Order estimation - Take sub-contracting value from Purchase
The current estimation process takes the cost of sub-contracting items from the manage cost tab of the released product card.
In scenarios where the sub-contracting cost fluctuates significantly from one production order to another this feature becomes non-manageable. It would be more s...

Gantt chart should be able to sort on start date instead of production ID
We have a lot of small production orders, scheduled on a certain resource. If you open the Gantt chart directly from the resource (or resource group), the information shown is sorted by production order number (and operation ID). A possibility should exist to sort on the scheduled Start Date in...

CLose the loophole for Prod orders and RAF on the handheld
This is a rather serious flaw that needs to be addressed. We know that you can create and process a production order all the way without having a BOM. So you can make something out of nothing. Not sure whether I would allow that if it were my ERP system but we have accepted that for years. Now...

Post picking list with option "Transfer all posting errors to a new journal" which includes posting errors
We are trying to post all picking lines that can be posted (lines without errors) and to transfer all lines with errors to new journal. System will create new journal and transfer error lines only if those errors are on the line level (validation of journal lines is not OK). If there is posting e...
Create transfer order from BOM/Formula
When subcontracting a production order, raw materials may be sent from an internal warehouse to the subcontractor. This idea is to add a feature to create the transfer order by selecting lines in the Production BOM and generating the transfer order. Marking each transfer order line to the to th...
Retrieve the "finished items in process" report as known from earlier AX versions
The report "Finished items in process" was part of AX 2012 alongside with it's companions "Materials in process", "Work in process" and "Indirect costs in process". The latest three mentioned are still present in Dynamics 365, but the "Finished items in process" report is gone. It would be ver...
