Some of the manufacturing companies require the possibility to print BOM information when releasing production orders, similarly as route card information can be printed. After printing on paper, this documentation is then sent to production floor. The production BOM will provide an overview of the parts and the afferent quantity needed to assembly finished goods. This overview is used as information by production workers to assembly the main products.

Thank you for your feedback. This is a great suggestion! We will consider this in our roadmap.

Would be great to also provide a way to print item number labels with barcodes for each BOM component that goes into the production order. We see this need for an assembly operation where all materials are tagged with a non-serialized barcode (with item id) as the finished good is assembled. Not all items may have a barcode assigned when it’s received into the warehouse. Barcoding each component while executing the order for a higher level assembly simplifies the process.

We are running paperless production. So it would be great to have a BOM button on the Production Floor Execution Screen where the operator can view the BOM lines.

Great idea!! We did this with a customization but would love to see it as standard functionality.

Absolute must have! In our process this request must be added via third-party solutions as well. Would be great to see a roadmap/timeline for this feature.

It would also be nice if this could become visible in the Production Floor App, when you run paperless production.

Do you have any updates on this idea? is it scheduled in the roadmap?

Isn't this a part of the route card?
