    Support for deployment with SPN for connection settings of power automates

    Hi Team,


    In Deployment Automation with Azure DevOps the recommended way is Application user (Azure SPN) as mentioned at https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/power-platform/alm/devops-build-tools#connection-to-environments . However for connection settings automation mentioned at https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/power-platform/alm/conn-ref-env-variables-build-tools#step-4-use-the-deployment-settings-file-for-build-tools-tasks we need a generic service connection to establish the same.


    Orgs have their own policies of MFA which is becoming increasingly difficult to automate and conform to MFA. Hence can there be a way to share the connections or a supported way to cover both of these.

    Preview or confirm window before sending a file in Omnichannel chat

    Would it be possible to make file preview or pop up a confirm window before sending a file in Omnichannel chat?


    Currently, the file will be directly sent out once user/agent select a file and click on open.There might be possibilities that they choose an incorret file. If the file/image can be previewed in send window or a new confirm window pops up, the user/agent can double check and then click on send.

    Default option for Filter By "Contains" or configurable

    Mostly We use Contains instead of Equals options in Filter By in Girds/SubGrids across the D365 CRM. It will be user friendly to make Contains as default option for Filter By component or give ability to configure this default option through Settings.

    Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement "Set Regarding" for Tasks

    This functionality is necessary when creating tasks.

    When a colleague receives and Task, he is unable to see the Set Regarding as its only visible from CRM.

    If they don't add it in the subject or some information about this task the person needs to open CRM to see it.

    Please add an functionality in the Dynamics 365 App for Outlook for tracking tasks or at least to be able to create Tasks from the App

    Deletion of lookup values by fixing the position of cross (X) in lookup input fields

    In certain scenarios the robots (via RPA) have to delete the value which has been put into a lookup field because of some automation steps.

    Its hard to delete the lookup values which are already pre-filled due to the dynamics position of “cross” (X). This is because the only way to delete the selected lookup value is to “find” the cross (X) and click on it as hitting backspace to remove the value is not possible. RPA is using the visual component which uses an anchor point to count the pixels where the click has to be made. The distance between the anchor point and the “cross” is dynamic and depends on the length of lookup value.


    So if Platform as OOTB capability can provides the provision (or configuration) to fix the position of "Cross" (X) in lookup fields value say the first position OR a button in every lookup field which did a “clear selection” would already help a lot.

    Ideas Homepage Forum Filter

    As idea communities grow in terms of number of active forums, it becomes difficult to be able to locate a specific idea forum unless the link is handy. Would be nice to be able to filter the list of idea forums from the view of forums.

    Form editor lock (off by default)

    It might be a good idea to allow customers to turn on a "locked for editing" setting in dynamics that would apply to the form editor. Currently, this is the situation


    1. Person A opens Form A to edit it
    2. Person B opens Form A to edit it while Person A still has the form open
    3. Person A saves and closes the form
    4. Person B saves and closes the form after person A


    What happens is that all of Person A's changes are lost/overwritten by Person B's changes.


    Adding the ability to "lock" a form for editing would allow users to deconflict that issue. You would have to also add the ability to "overwrite" that lock or be able to turn the lock off if there was some type of connectivity issue or a say User A forgot to save and close out the editing form

    Add Tagging Functionality for Ideas

    Add ability to add Tags to Ideas.


    This would include a Tag Management Module that would enable:

    • The ability to pre-define Tags within a Hierarchy of at least 3 Levels.
    • The ability to define which Forums and/or Categories predefined Tags apply to (to avoid 'noise' or clutter when selecting).
    • Note: Pre-defined Tags could apply to: 1.) Entire Ideas Instance; 2.) One or More Selected Forums and/or Categories; 3.) An Individual Idea (hence users must be able to create new Tags, without being limited to Pre-defined Tags.

    Change the first cursor location by default without "setFocus"

    On a table like Case table, the first cursor location cannot be changed on default function when creating records.

    Using "setFocus" by JavaScript can make this happen, but this takes a lot of procedure.

    It would be convenient if the first cursor location could be changed on default function.

    Database log Report

    Hi,

    This is regarding the Database log report which i was trying to download from system and i found out some discrepancies in the report.

    System is not allowing to use filter based on different companies. It always generates the same report for all companies. So we are not able to compare data between companies.

    After the report is generated, report don't have have the column for company to identify for which company database log is generated.

    Also while comparing the log rec IDs of database log report and grid report, the Rec IDs did not match, which makes the data inconsistent in the report.


    If the system allows us to user the company filter or a column of company in the report, it would help us to identify the log report in correct manner. Please consider it as a standard for the report
