    One interface to assign/edit Security Role and Primary Team for the user

    At Power Platform admin portal there is no possibility to identify/assign/edit Primary Team to a user. On the other hand, in the “Dynamics interface” you cannot assign a “security role” to a User. This makes management more cumbersome and error-prone.

    There 2 possible options to have this in 1 interface:

    1. It would be more convenient to add the possibility to adjust User Main Form and add Security Role <-> User (systemuserroles_association) relationship to the form.
    2. To extend to User settings at Power Platform admin portal with Primary Team.

    Sort activities on priority in list view

    When displaying all activities in one grid, activity view, there is an option to sort on the options set Priority. This sorting is done alphabetically and results in the sorting being:


    1. High
    2. Low
    3. Normal


    or


    1. Normal
    2. Low
    3. High


    This doesn't make much sense when "sorting on priority". Ideally, there should be an option to sort on the options sets numeric value rather than the label. A quick and easy fix could be to prefix the labels of the options set with numbers eg. 1. High, 2. Normal, 3. Low. This is not possible for developers as the activity table is closed for customization.

    Audit Log Tagging Cases for exclusion

    As a council we have to retain case information related to complaints and these could last a long time (years). Part of the complaint case information that might be presented to an ombudsman includes audit log entries related to who has accessed, when and why, chnages made etc. When deleting logs you have limited options e.g. all logs to a certain date, or clear down the entire log say user session, or case data. We would like consideration of being able to tag important cases and for these cases to be excluded from any deletion of the audit log records. Once the complain concludes the user can untagged it for deletion.

    Our issue is that the audit log disk space continues to expand and we procure more and more as we are unable to undertake any maintenance and also have a concern over future performance degradation as the log continues to build. We would like to clear it down to 6 months but that isnt possible without some option to retain relevant case history as you can view it within the case form. (in addition there is no out the box way to export this case history from the case form to allow us to take the audit for a particular case outside CRM which would have been a workaround to allow us to delete all data). So more flexibility in managing the audit log but in particular the ability to tag cases to be retained.

    List views to include a Page number entry

    When on a list view, the ability to enter a page number rather than just the ability to next/prev/last/first.


    Sometimes when the list is long and they are working on say page number 3, they would like to jump to page 3 directly rather than going next next.

    Schedule Custom Automated Messages

    Idea

    We would like to add the idea to have the option to schedule custom automated messages for upcoming holidays / company events.


    Usecase

    As a user with priviliges to edit the Custom Automated Messages I would like to be able to schedule custom automated messages.

    The startdate & -time aswel as the enddate & -time should be configurable.


    Why?

    With this option we can create more specific messages up front, with a more personal touch.

    Enable choice columns for Virtual Tables

    Please re-route to correct area if needed.


    Currently Dataverse with a Virtual Entity or Virtual table, with a gateway connection to SQL, does not support a choice column or optionset.


    As having a dropdown with choices is quite crucial when creating a Powerapp solution for customers, this is quite an urgent improvement needed. A Model Driven app only works on Dataverse or Virtual table, so there is no way right now to do a dropdown.

    (Work around with PCF component runs into the 255 single text character limit)


    Please enable support for choice columns for virtual tables

    Add a display label for default business unit

    Although the default business unit can be renamed by using a work around (set the field to optional, update and reset to required). It isn't clear if the work around is supported or not.

    Is it possible to add a Display Label or Alias field?

    Reduction in Snapshot duration, currently it one hour to 15mins or less

    HI All,


    Can we have the feature implemented to reduce snapshot timings from 1 hour to a custom duration like 15 -20 mins in upcoming releases in synapse. this will help to overcome many errors.


    We recently migrated from CRM-Data Export Service to CRM-Synapse Integration. Using Snapshot mechanism in Synapse to get the hourly snapshot data. However, we are seeing that, some of the reports are getting impacted because of one hour duration. Earlier used DES were the sync mechanism used to take place in 15mins
