    Printing in UCI/legacy print preview

    Suggested by VS N New  0 Comments

    Good evening, post migration to UCI , printing dynamics 365 forms easily has not been available to the users. In legacy interface, there was/is a print preview option which functions reasonably ok for printing the form data.

    Printing a dynamics form is a basic need and should be easily executable by the users. So I am requesting Microsoft to either

    • provide a print preview functionality at the form level in UCI
    • do not remove the legacy print preview API that is working (as of May 2022) so that organization like ours who have ad-hoc printing form needs, can continue to do form level printing. The legacy printing api that works is via the url: "_forms/print/print.aspx" . Please do not change/remove it till there is a suitable replacement available via UCI.

    Thanks

    PowerApps Portals Azure Storage integration

    Suggested by Sergio Redondo Aycardi New  0 Comments

    Anexo: documentacion de miscrosoft referente al tema.

    Portal case attachment date stamp should be in DD/MM/YYYY format despite of descriptive format or X time ago format

    Suggested by Lakshmi Hari Chandana Achanta New  0 Comments

    Concern:

    =========

    User has observed that the date stamp is showing in descriptive format rather than showing in standard date format (DD/MM/YYYY).

    Description:

    ==========

    In the Portals, when we upload any attachments, initially the date stamp is showing as expected in standard date format DD/MM/YY

    But after certain period of time (a month or more), the status of the date stamp starts showing in descriptive format e.g.: 2 months ago.

    User need/ requirement:

    ====================

    -> Users would like to show/ display the date stamp in standard date format DD/MM/YY despite of the span of the attachment.

    Power Apps Portal Audit log in Dynamics 365 to show contacts whom changes

    Suggested by Daniel Pickering New  0 Comments

    Would be ideal to view an Audit Log in Dynamics 365 CE - Sales, Customer Service, etc - of contacts who've made data updates in a Power Apps Portal.

    Currently the audit log only identifies the update as made by SYSTEM USER however if multiple contacts have access to a record and make a change, Dynamics 365 users cannot identify whom actually made the change.

    The update log should be easily visible to Dynamics 365 users - ie. not in the Microsoft Compliance Centre which Dynamics 365 users may not have access to or understand the purpose of.

    Possible Solutions:

    • audit log in Dynamics 365 shows both user updates (licensed users) and contacts (portal contacts)
    • audit log in Power Apps Portal

    Bring back Search button to re-execute the search using the new Schedule Board visible dates.

    Suggested by Victor Pham New  0 Comments

    According to this doc: https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/dynamics365/common-scheduler/developer/extensibility-release-notes#december-2017, when changing the dates on the Schedule Board, the Resource Query is not automatically executed again. Rather, you must click the search button to re-execute the search using the new Schedule Board visible dates.

    However, in the new Schedule Board, there is no Search button. We have to click Search Resources box and click Enter as workaround. It would be great if we can bring the Search button back.

    Auto-Complete Control

    Suggested by Moony Tong New  0 Comments

    The auto-complete control by design only limits the first 6 results to show up even if the list contains more than 6 items. There is an expectation that the user provides additional character to narrow down the search results as necessary. Otherwise, in order for all items to show up in the drop down, a user will need to select and item, then save the form and then they will be able to view and select all available items.

    The auto-complete control needs to be fixed so that all available items show up on the auto-complete dropdown without needing to first selecting an option and saving.

    Thanks

    Decision Makers and Power Platform Administrators would like to see the Audit Logs of different tables/entities directly accessible in the Power BI Dashboard so that they can review and make better decisions on optimizations or enhancements on workloads.

    Logging Audit Activity for Model Driven App Launch

    Suggested by Dipti Chhatrapati New  0 Comments

    We have Audit logs available capturing the PowerApps App Launching activity, However the same for Model Driven App is missing - It would be quite helpful to know the number of people accessing Model Driven App.

    Can't wait to see this aspect be visible in Audit logs/Admin Center!

    Best,
