BOM of serial numbers / batches
There should be a way to register serial numbers (as well as batches) in a kind of a BOM structure to fulfill tracking requirements by item. With standard D365fO, it’s only possible with PO of quantity 1, which is a no go for customers.
The functionality should work without the ne...

Enable the material availability check for production orders that are operations scheduled
At this stage, the material availability check is only available for production orders that are job scheduled. There is not really a good reason why operations scheduled orders would require a different process. Please enable the functionality for the operations scheduled production orders.
Thank you for your feedback. We released this feature and it is named Material availability check for operations scheduled production orders in release 10.0.34.

- Assistant/Assist resource
- View Balance and Log Book
- Bundle jobs
- Search the job list by Project ID or Item ID for finished goods.
Best regards,

Registration on project activities on the production floor execution interface (PFE)
On the production floor execution interface (PFE), workers should be able to register time spent and material consumed on project activities. It should be possible to enable this option by configuration for example by adding a new tab to the configuration for project related tasks.
Thank you for your feedback. This is a great suggestion!
Currently this is not in our roadmap; however, we are tracking it and if we get more feedback and votes, we may consider it in the future.

manufacturing execution: stop working indirect activity
You could take a break and log back in immediately to bring back to System Waiting. So there's no Standard solution to stop indirect activity and start a new production Job or Project Job directly.
