The touch screen functionality of the Job Card Device and ease of use provides enhanced application needed for Shop Floor, however, the current design is limited and will need further enhancements to meet very important business requirements.
Customer has identified the following requirements (most available with job card terminal which is meant to be replaced):
-Ability to RAF
-Ability to change batch disposition status / inventory status when RAF
-Edit job list
-Bundle
-Assistant/Assist resource
-Ability to print pick list
-Non conformance creation
-Quality order creation
-View Balance and Log Book

We have several customers that need functionality that I'm not seeing with the new functionality including:
1. Ability to post time against projects as you can with the Job card terminal
2. Most companies I've seen do not need the time and attendance process and see that as unneeded overhead
3. I believe this is coming but ability to consume excess material/drive the picking process of that needed extra material.
Have reviewed the new functionality and it definitely is easier to navigate! Thank you!

A flexble configuration for buttons and informations like in job card terminal (grid, action pane) would be also a great improvement.

Great idea - one more missing function - when finishing the last Job the System generates the RAF-Journal for the production order. When using the advanced warehouse you need a license plate ID - the only way you can manage this up to now is to create a new LP and fill this in the dimensions field in the production order - it would be nice that the System retrieves the next LP from the number sequence before trying to post the RAF-Journal - in this Case even partial RAF-quantities could be managed.

The Job card device has been deprecated, and has been replaced with the Production floor execution interface.
The Production floor execution interface is now fully supporting execution of batch orders for process manufacturing. Important functionality released for the interface includes:
