Is there any update or roadmap for this issue in Ending Production Order with 0 Good in AX/D365?
Category: Production Control
We have the very same exact issue. Actually, I've reached this portal to issue an idea regarding this concern.

Is there allready a date when this will be available? Or it is at least still in the Roadmap?

We run into this scenario every time we clean our equipment. Upon starting up, we will consume raw materials but, because of the timing, we won't have any production to report until the next shift.

Definately needed as the work around for the is to Finish As Good one unit they to manually write that unit off. You can imagine the nightmare that causes with Inventory Audits, the Variance reports for Wip and Absorption, the Possibility of someone reserving that inventory while it sits as Finished, hassel it is for SOX controlled companies to have to explain they are using a world class ERP system but they have to Produce a unit and write a unit off as a work around to a system limitation

Common scenario for production and batch orders!
- when released orders must be canceled but good to have history in plan. Then RAF with 0.
- Orders were started but had to be canceled. Picking lists already posted but nothing produced.
- production orders are used for allocating hours in the plan. We do not really want to put item on stock, but good to finish the orders.
