GS1-128 barcodes
Many AX / D365 customers have supply chain requirements that include scanning barcodes that are formatted to the GS1-128 standard. This includes barcodes that have multiple data elements where each element starts with an Application identifier and can either be fixed or variable length.
Advanced warehousing and Purchase order receiving
The purchase receiving process has an issue. Mobile client brings the PO line to 'registered' - Nobody in warehouse or office is willing to go to each PO and individually click a "Product receipt" for the registered lines - Batch program in advanced warehousing exists to bring PO lines to "rec...
Over pick raw material picking (production orders)
It is currently not possible to do an over pick for raw material picking (production order). We have scenario's that the bill of material is not correct and in that case you want to have the option to pick additional items with the warehousing app. Dynamics suggest that this scenario is possib...

Warehouse processes for vendor returns
A vendor return is created (purchase order with negative lines) for an intercompany vendor in company A. This generates an intercompany sales return order in company B.
Now it's required to ship to goods from company A using WHS processes, but in the purchase order there is no way...

Location blocking for Inbound/Outbound
Could we have some sort of automation for configuration so we don't have to add extra lines to the Location directive action queries just to filter out locations that are blocked for inbound/outbound? e.g. a tick-box on Location directive actions "Use location blocking codes". Would just add a...
Support Direct Delivery with Advanced Warehousing
Currently the direct delivery functionality is blocked on a warehouse that implements the Advanced Warehousing functionality. Please remove this restriction and allow this functionality to work across all warehouses.
Thank you for the feedback, however, it's a bit unclear as current functionality does support basic direct delivery scenario.
We will do a more detail analysis and have discussion around this here or in the WMS TMs Yammer group.
One of the thing we can do is to make the setup more efficiently and set it up at the warehouse level.
Next step is to integrate it better with our intercompany trade.
We will update this entry when we have done a bit more analysis.

Put away of a mixed license plate with the Warehousing APP
If the supplier delivers a pallet with mixed items, D365 for Operations assigns one license plate to this pallet. When you do the put away process, the warehouse app proposes the items which you have to scan. This is not handy in case of different items. Actually you would have the option to s...
Thank you for your feedback. We need some more details to understand your suggestion better. Can you please help us by answering the following questions?
We would like to know if we have understood it correctly. What is desired is to be able to scan any item ID of choice and system will start that line of put work, so the warehouse worker has full control of put lines sequence?

Catch weight in WHS process

Customers that need to use catch weight cannot use WHS, and the change requir...

Thank you for your feedback. This is a great suggestion! We have it on our roadmap.
It's part of two themes for our work -
1. flexibility - ability to perform some workflows based on various existing working workflow but this specific combination is not supported, this is due to the way we work where we prioritize shipping scenarios that are main stream leaving out second priority scenario - this scenario has been left behind for quite some time - we are not sure to be able to do this for 7.3 but we will try to load it in.
2. one warehousing, we want to only support one warehouse solution, not solving this work flow pushes users to utilize WMS1 warehouses, this is ineffective.

Philippe Jacobsen
