Automatic price and quantity calculation of expense and services depending om parameter settings
Should be under a different category (Work Order Review), but I couldn't change. When Bookings related to a Work Order are completed a Review of the job is made. Anything (time, material, expense, fee) that should be invoiced to customer or just added as a cost needs to be entered manually. If...
Write-In Products for Work Order Products
Please could you include the option to add 'write-in' products as Word Order Products, in the same was as can be done on Invoices. The business rationale for this is that there can be items that aren't individually stock controlled, but the business would still like to add to invoices. Having ...
Thank you for your feedback.
Currently this is not in our roadmap; however, we are tracking it and, if we get more feedback and votes, we may consider it in the future.

Add a new Work Order System Status for non-billable or Agreement Work Orders to close them out without generating an Invoice
Add a new work order system status of 'Closed-Non-Billable' so that Work Orders that do go ahead but do NOT need to have an invoice generated can be closed out. At the moment the only option is to create a sub-status that links to the 'Closed - Canceled' system status which is misleading if th...
Thank you for your feedback.
I think a way to indicate that an invoice should not be generated in certain circumstances is an interesting idea.If we were to implement a way to ensure Invoices are not generated in certain circumstances, we would not likely do it with a new System Status but it is still an idea worth consideration.
In the meantime, there are likely many ways to handle this from complex to simple. One workaround is to ensure that WOs generated from Agreements get an entitlement or pricelist applied that will drive the invoice that does get generated to $0.
If this concept gets more votes, we'll give it more consideration.

Ability to roll up multiple Work Orders into one Invoice
All of our customers have asked for the ability to roll up multiple Work Orders into one Invoice for their clients. A lot of their clients have many Work Orders throughout a single month, and they would prefer to have one Invoice for all of them as opposed to one Invoice per Work Order. Ideall...
Thank you for your feedback.
We think this idea is interesting. If this idea gains more votes, we'll look more closely into what it would take to deliver this feature.
One area we'd be interested to understand in more detail is whether these customers are using an ERP system to handle their more complex invoicing requirements. It would seem like a simpler ask to satisfy once the data from FS is integrated into a financial system.
As always, we really appreciate your feedback. Keep the suggestions coming.
Thank you,

Embedded Knowledge Search for Work Order
"Embedded Knowledge Search" in Customer Service feature is good for Field Service engineers. Lots of standard Entities can add "Embedded Knowledge Search", so I'd like to add it on Work Order, too.
Thanks for raising this idea. We love the idea of adding more knowledge capabilities within Field Service but we are not sure if it makes sense to have this knowledge search on Work Order when so many work orders are started from a case. It seems that the scenarios from Work Order where you would search for knowledge during creation are the reactive type work order, which are the ones most likely coming from a Case. For proactive work orders coming from maintenance scenarios, it doesn't seem like such a function would add much additional value.
We're open to the idea so let's see if this gets more feedback and votes.
Thanks, again.

BUG - Change from Potential Customer to Account for Oppty convert to Work Order
When converting an opportunity from Opportunity to Work Order you are reading from the Potential Customer field. You should not be using this field any more. Sometimes the Potential customer gets stuck on contact, and then you get an error when trying to convert. Please use the Account field o...

Add option to Work Order Type to get Price List from Service or Billing Account
Currently, the work order inherits the Price List value from the Work Order Type assigned. Often, the price list is actually a property of the Service or Billing Account. Recommend adding an option set field to the Work Order Type called "Price List Source" with values 'Work Order Type', 'Bill...
Thank you for your feedback.
We are not considering the suggestion at this time, however, that is because it is already possible to satisfy this with OOTB behavior. Using entitlements, you can drive pricelist application through many different configurations. It will not apply at the WO level, but will apply at the specific WO Product or WO Service levels. It will even allow variable application with different pricelists applying to different WO lines based on their unique applications.
We sincerely hope you'll look into this existing feature as we believe it will allow this capability and much more complex scenarios.
Sincerely,
Jason Cohen

A simpler way to set a flat service fee against the whole work order
All of my customers use flat fees for service calls and find the complexity around price list item annoying. They just want a single box to override all other settings and add a flat fee.
Create Work order from Power BI system dashboard
With Power BI report/ dashboard getting enabled as a system dashboard in model-driven apps (in 2020 wave-2 release), field service organizations can make data-driven decisions and generate trackable actions in the form of work orders. Enabling organizations to create work orders directly from Pow...
Thanks, Rakesh. I think this idea could make sense. Before we commit to doing work on this concept, we'd like to see how the community feels about this concept. Let's give it some more time to collect more votes.
Thanks, again.

Add a completed y/n flag on the WO Incident
In case of managing multiple incidents on a single WO, the follow-up resource could not track what incidents were solved from the first visit, and what were not due to the following : 1-First visit resource can not complete the WO as only 1 incident has been solved and the work is not done 2-T...
Thank you for your feedback. As this may not align to how a significant portion of our customers manage their work, for now, we will not implement this at the product level. Further, if this is important to how this is managed for a specific implementation, it is a simple enough addition to add.
