    Allow users to hide hover popups completely in schedule board

    When users hover their mouse over a task on the schedule board, a popup appears to display the task's details. While this feature can be helpful, some users find it frustrating as the popup can obstruct their view, making it difficult to reschedule tasks by dragging and dropping.


    To enhance user experience, it would be advantageous to introduce an option to disable these hover popups entirely. This would empower users to manage their tasks more efficiently and provide the flexibility to choose whether or not to display the hover popup.

    Allow CoPilot in the Field Service app the same functionality as in Customer Service

    In the Customer Service app a user can ask CoPilot questions that relate to Knowledge Base Article content and receive an AI reply based upon the Knowledge Base Article content in the system.


    In the Field Service App the CoPilot functionality appears to be limited to counting records and similar basic actions except for Work Order summaries.


    Technicians in Field Service would massively benefit from being able to ask questions and have AI responses from Knowledge Base Articles to assist them in resolving issues on machines.

    let us set "show assets" on Functional Location Tree PCF to true on default

    At the moment you have to activate "show assets" on the new pcf for functional location tree every time you want to check the functional locations assets. It would be great to be able to default this option to being checked (or not)

    Capacity bands for Resource scheduling

    Currently, RSO schedules all available resource requirements to a resource based on the defined scheduling criteria.

    In a scenario where there a more requirements than resources, this leads to a fully booked schedule with no availability.


    Consequence of this is that all maintenance work orders are scheduled as soon as they are created, and service work orders created from cases cannot be scheduled anymore, because there is no availability.


    The idea consists creating various capacity bands, where a percentage of the total available capacity can be allocated to certain work orders. This may vary based on customer type, work order type, or asset type. This needs to be flexible to variate in the allocation of capacity throughout different time periods in the year.


    With this, RSO will reschedule the bookings and requirements according to the defined scheduling rules, but only limit this to the set capacity for the defined time window. Refer to the list below as an example:

    Schedule Board map filtered by Requirements pane

    On the Schedule Board screen, it might be very useful to connect the filters applied to the Requirements pane (on the bottom) with the map. For example, if there are 100 requirements and, after applying a filter the pane shows only 20 items, the map should show only the 20 requirement's locations just filtered

    Dark Mode

    Would it be possible to add a Dark Mode option to all pages within Dynamics 365? Most people have Dark Mode on everything else. Hurts the eyes when i go to dynamics throughout my day. Thank you!

    Limitation in Creating 'Proposed' Status Bookings from Work Orders

    Currently, it is not possible to create a Booking record (created from a Work Order) whose related Booking Status (a lookup to the bookingstatus entity) has the status 'Proposed'.


    This is a huge limitation because, due to this, we cannot use the 'Ignore Proposed Bookings' option on the Schedule Board for Booking records created from a Work Order.

    Field Service Schedule Board Capacity: Prevent Overbooking

    When creating a bookable resource, in the "work hours" tab you can set a capacity for any given work day.


    However, it is still possible to overbook above this capacity limit. For example, if a resource has a capacity of "1", it is still possible to book them for multiple work orders in a single day.


    The purpose of this idea submission is to change the "capacity" function to prevent overbooking of resources on work orders.


    The user story is as follows: "As a field service user, I want to be able to set a capacity for each bookable resource so that I can prevent them from being overbooked for work orders in any single given day."

    Ability to schedule RSO runs on a particular day of each month

    We run monthly RSO jobs to schedule preventative maintenance work and would love to have a way to schedule these runs on a particular day each month, on the 22nd of each month as an example.
