Dynamics 365 Field Service

For the D365 Field Service and Schedule Board - could a capability be added that you can drag and schedule a resource by days? Today the solution will allow scheduling by hours, but we have a need for scheduling by days.

It should be possible to setup RSO scheduling a Multi-day trip.

This is a strong requirement. A lot of our customers schedule resources for multi-day trips (without returning to Office/Home for x days).

This should be setup on resource Level.

In this scenario - a Service engineer leaves at home monday morning and returns friday evening. He stays x nights in hotels on his route.

The behavior of the tree view control to show functional location and assets is to load all at once all the records so that the user has to wait for it to retrieve them all.

If there are accounts with a lot of records (e.g. customers with lots of buildings, of buildings with lots of locations and assets) the loading of the functional locations nested under each child record is very slow with long waiting times.

We suggest loading only the first level of the tree and then gradually expanding child functional locations and assets.

Currently a field service mobile user can only be working with or without offline profile.

If the user is working with offline profile, he/she will only see the records filtered by the offline profile even if its connected to internet (he/she will not see records that are not part of the offline profile).

If the user is working without the offline profile, he/she will see all the records that their security roles allow it.

We will like that a user can switch between both behaviors: choose when to have full internet access and when to work on the offline mode version.

This capability will allow the users to use field service mobile app full capabilities when they are online and only the offline profile records/features when they are without internet access.

it wpould be great if we could add custom constraints that will be taken into consideration in RSO.

Several customers would like to have the feature to factor in traffic conditions for RSO and the Schedule Assistant.

It would be great, if the schedule board could show the same information in the daily and weekly view as it does in the hourly view. Due to our technicians are visiting only one customer a day (sometimes one customer a week), it would be great if the summation of hours could be turned off in the dayly and weekly view. It would be super to see up to 6 weeks in one screen.
