    Monitoring and Alerting when record auto-generation fails in agreements

    I think the system should alert a user when an agreement fails to generate an invoice, work order or booking as configured by recurrence. It would also be useful to be able to report on what records are expected to be auto-generated to compare with actual records auto-generated.

    Decouple Inspection Template Number Questions from "Pricing Decimal Precision" Setting

    💡 Description:

    Currently, the decimal precision of Number-type questions in Inspection Templates is affected by the "Pricing decimal precision" setting in environment behavior settings (PPAC > Environment > Settings > Behaviour).

    This behavior is confusing and unintuitive for the following reasons:

    • Number questions are typically used for general numeric inputs (e.g., temperature, quantities, scores), which are not related to pricing or currency.
    • The "Pricing decimal precision" setting is intended for controlling decimal places in currency fields, as clearly documented.
    • Customers are reluctant to change this setting, as it also affects existing Dataverse currency fields across the environment.
    • This hidden dependency can lead to inconsistent behavior, especially when using different base languages (e.g., English environments default to 2, Japanese environments default to 0).


    🎯 Proposed Improvement:

    Please consider decoupling the precision of Number-type questions in Inspection Templates from the "Pricing decimal precision" setting.

    Instead, allow these questions to:

    • Have their own explicit precision setting, or
    • Default to a reasonable number of decimal places (e.g., 2), independent of pricing-related configurations.


    🔍 Business Impact:

    This behavior is currently blocking customers from using decimal values in Number-type questions without affecting global currency formatting.

    It creates avoidable confusion and increases the risk of unintended side effects when adjusting a setting that is supposed to affect only currency fields.

    Add price list field in the work order creation form in Field Service for Outlook

    We cannot find the price list field in the form displayed in the Field Service for Outlook Add-in, whereas this field is mandatory.

    Form is not customisable.

    For us it is not possible to define a default pricelist for the whole organization since we use Dynamics in several countries and each country has his own main price list (sometimes with different currencies).

    Only solution we found has been to create business rule to set up a default price list per business unit.

    Schedule several bookings including overnight stays

    We would need to be able to plan the best "trip" for our engineers for the whole week, or certain timeframe.

    It is often that workers travel to a certain area to visit many customers (bookings), they would stay over night in a hotel and continue the trip in the morning. On Friday they will return back to their home address.


    This would be like new feature with multi-day scheduling but it is not only one booking over two days but multiple bookings in a certain area over a longer timeperiod.

    Customer specific scheduling/work hours

    Different customers works with different work hours in different period of time. Unfortunately, we don't have any work hours that are bounded to the customer. We do have Work Hours template that can be attached to a customer (Service Account) but it doesn't define the customer's operating hours i.e. doesn't control when a job can be scheduled to the customer.


    At the moment, we are relying on the promised date and time but its not flexible. If we can add a work hours calendar to Accounts similar to that of Resources and restrict the booking as per this with an extendible overriding option similar to Outside Work Hours, similar to Bookable Resource, it will be helpful.

    Stability in licensing changes

    The licensing system is currently changing too often and too fast, so we hope that the product team considers stability a top priority.


    The idea here is that MS should inform customers or partners via email whenever there is any change in licenses that they are currently subscribing to, so it does not cause any confusion. This can help customers keep track of their licenses as well as the capacity changes that can possibly cost extra without noticing.

    Ability to Dock and Undock panels on the Schedule Board

    Users would like to configure the layout of the schedule board by undocking the panels and moving them to different screens or arranging them in a different order to suit the user. Currently users are opening multiple versions of the schedule board across different screens whilst adjusting the size of the panel accordingly to support their need (eg: map, gantt width). Doing this requires them to manually refresh each screen (or wait for the timed updated) to see updates as they don't maintain context.

    Being able to undock items like the map and move it to a different screen, would allow users to optimise screen real-estate along with additional flexibility for layout.

    Custom Parameter in Booking Rule

    Hi Team,


    We are implementing Universal Resource Scheduling for one of our client. We have noticed few limitations while developing solution with schedule board.


    Requirement No 1: Client want to implement confirmation message before cancel the schedule booking item but we do not have any identifier for new status, so we are unable to implement this validation in booking rule.


    Requirement No 2: Client want to implement multiple schedule board for different location and also want to implement different validation rules for different schedule board but currently we do not have identifier trigger point of schedule board, so we cannot setup different validation rules based on schedule board.


    Requirement No 3: Currently, we do not have option to select multiple items to schedule at same time. We need to schedule it one by one.


    According to our client business point of view, above all 3 points are very important for users to manage schedule board.

    Customizable Booking Card on a Schedule Board for Daily, Weekly, Monthly Views

    Provide a way for revisions to existing inspection templates be moved or imported from one environment to another.

    Companies that have many inspection templates need a way to revise those templates over time. In our customer’s environment, all changes are made in a non-production environment and tested before the changes are promoted to production. Currently there is no way to make revisions to an inspection template in one environment, and then move those changes to the same template in production once tested. All revisions to existing templates must be made in the production environment. Exporting to json and importing creates a new template, not a revision to an existing.
