Production order to release / material availability check not considering reservations (bug?)
The production order to release form (from Production Floor Management workspace) is based on material availability calculated according to master planning logic, working on dynamic master plan.
This is not working in contexts where production reservations are managed, and thi...
Integrating the use of scanners in the Production Floor Execution to be able to Start and Report progress
Many of our clients want to use Production Floor Execution, after they removed the functionality related to time and assistance, but in a more automated manner without manually entering data to avoid errors.

Calendar optimization - Automatic update holidays on work calendar
It'd be much efficient to have an option to automatically update the holidays in the working calendars instead of manually updating it day by day.
This will eliminate any human error.
Save time.
Add a parameter setting that allows the user to choose if the picking list should register with the product being produced or with the input product financial dimensions.
Currently the financial dimensions on the production order header are defaulted to the picking list journal lines and takes precedence from any financial dimensions specified on the raw materials. If no financial dimension is on the production order header, then the financial dimension from th...

Split the flushing principle “Finish” into “Operation finish” and “Production finish”
Advanced scenarios may require a distinction between an “Operation finish” and “Production finish” as opposed to a single flushing principle “Finish”. This is hard to achieve through an extension to D365FO, as the respective enumeration is not extendable. Fo...

Subcontract PO doesn't bring warehouse and location information from Resource Group into production journals.
When receiving a purchase order for subcontracted work (service item) which was automatically generated from a production order, the warehouse and location information is not copied from the resource group to any of the production journals. This happens for all advanced warehouse items. This i...

Allocation of Operation numbers on Production order BOM lines if using phantoms
The issue relates to the allocation of Operation numbers on BOM lines. If these BOM lines are classed as phantoms (or are below phantoms) in the multi-level BOM structure then the link to Operation number is lost if the phantoms don’t have routes (and the route is added to the top level item)....

Issues with rounding when decimal precision of 4 is used on BOM line and released qty = qty of on-hand
On our production orders we receive imports from an CAD software into the BOMs of Level 1 Production Orders. The information we receive is not per price produced but the complete quantity calculated in CAD for all pieces together.
The goods needed for producing the level 1 Pr...

Batch Balancing for active ingredient with formula UoM different from Inventory UoM
Currently the batch balancing process only works for active ingredients where formula unit of measure equals the inventory unit of measure. Reason is a design limitation where the reserved quantity (inventory UoM) needs to be equal with the formula based required quantity (formula UoM). As the so...
