Make Job card terminal paper clip great again
At Job card terminal, the paper clip button, normally showing the number of attachments for the current record elsewhere is the system, always shows zero now. It shows that there are zero attachments even when there are connected attachments (to production order, operation, connected BOM lines et...
Improve subcontracting: we want multi-line PO's!
Typically a planned prod order, after firming, is created in the scheduled status. This means that any subcontracting PO has already been created. It will be line line PO just for this one prod order. Most customers don't want that. They have a lot of subcontr work they want to combine in one ...
Report feedback form should show all jobs
Report feedback form should show the jobs started in other session as well. When an active session is opened with a configuration where the parameter Lock employee is selected, then jobs started by the same employee on other terminal sessions, should be shown in the current session.
Operations material overview form should support product variants
If you open Production Control > Operations > Current Operations (ProdRouteOprOverview) And then select an operation and open: Operation details > Materials You get to this very useful form: (ProdBOMOprNum) Unfortunately it has no capability to show product dimensions/variants – nor other typic...

Work instructions setup on route operations should support All file types
The Job card terminal and the job car device support various file types for detailed work instructions. By adding an image or pdf file on the Operation as an external document, and setting this document type on the document groups, it is shown perfectly in the preview. On the detailed work ins...

Floorstock .. we have no solution
There is no solution for Floorstock in D365. It should not be hard to get a solution for it. We need a line type on the BOM and the PROD BOM that will make sure this floorstock item: - is not showing up on the Picklist - is not creating a "remaining quantity" on the PRod BOM - so does not requ...

Make unpicking easier
When using advanced warehousing it may happen that a prod order is erroneously picked and we have to 'reverse the pick".when my Prod BOM has 40 or more lines, this is a tremendous job. Each individual line has to be unpicked. The idea is to provide an unpick transaction wiht one click for the ...
Thank you for your feedback. We are not considering the suggestion at this time due to the following reason:
We have introduced an option to set the inventory transaction in state Reserved physical instead of status Picked. The parameter can be found in the Warehouse parameters page and is called: Issue status after raw material picking. If you set the parameter to Reserved physical, then you can reset the production order status without unpicking the transactions.

Johan

Item substitution and backflushing
When a formula item is substituted for another - the system grabs quantities based on available on-hand inventory.
Ex - ItemA - 150, ItemB (sub) - 50
When backflushing the components, both are posted each time in the same proportion as they were on ProdBOM.
Ex - ItemA...

Adding a "CANCEL" feature to the production orders
User wishes to have the ability to "cancel" a production order to maintain the number sequence of the production orders as it is useful for the Audit Department to have all production orders visible and correctly numbered regardless of if they are "ended" or "cancelled".
