Include profile date in job card journals with quantities
The profile date of a registration is leading in determining the shift to which a report feedback action belongs. This is often used in production performance reporting (on operator level). There are two types of job card journals being possibly posted at a report feedback action being a job car...
Allow Calculations/Formulas in Production Order Quantity Field
The system should allow the user to enter a formula i.e. =(10*2) in the Production order QTY field. This feature exists in other fields such as sales order line quantity. It was allowed in Axapta 4.0 but has since been deprecated.
Add Validation to Production Order Transactions when a Project Activity is not specified but required by the Project
When creating a production order from a project and the project is setup to "REQUIRE ACTIVITY ON JOURNALS" for hours. There is a situation where the production order can post journals without validating against this required field which can cause an employee to get "stuck" working on a job in th...
When we click on JOB card device Good Quantity not updating in Log book
One operator is working at different resources at the same time (job bundling; lock employee = no). After reporting feedback on both resources and viewing the logbook, the quantities are not displayed.
Thank you for your feedback. We are not considering the suggestion at this time due to the following reason:
- We have announced depreciation of the job card device : deprecated.
- The log book has now been added to PFE where it works as expected.

BOM Consumption Flushing Principle
Currently the BOM Consumption checkbox in the Job Card / Route Card journals does not honor the flushing principle of the BOM line. This becomes a problem when processing scrap if one of the BOM lines is set for Manual flushing. Suggestion is to change the BOM Consumption function from "Always...

Warning messages when set up for subcontracting not complete
Subcontracted routing operations need to be completed. One can do this manually but much more convenient is to use the parameter in prod control or subcontract PO's. Upon receiving of such a PO, the subcon operation can be completed using a special route group. This set up is pretty subtle and...

Missing entities for uploading manufacturing execution
Following tables cannot be uploaded with data management as no data entities exist: JmgIpcActivity and JmgIpcCategory (Indirect activity categories). It means you cannot copy them into a second legal entity if you have a second manufacturing plant for example. Also for creating golden configur...

Adv Warehousing parameters mixed up with MFg Exeuction parameters
The current situation is that MFG execution parameters control the functionality of the Adv Warehousing transactions for Report as Finished. This is very confusing to the user. Suggestion is to reorganize and rename the menu choices and the field names to indicate this fact. If a customer uses...

Send error message when line type is wrong
It is a very common user error to put the subcontract service item in the BOM, and forget to make the line type = vendor! This will of course stop the show and no Sub PO will be generated. The idea is to generate an error message when the Prod Order is estimated and the system detects that the...

Mention part numbers, not LOT ID
When creating warehouse raw mat picking work for prod orders, the system sends an error message when certain parts are not available and cannot be picked. It talks LOT ID. Nobody remembers lot ID's. IT should talk part numbers so the user knows what the shortages are!
Thank you for your feedback. This is a great suggestion! We will consider this in our roadmap.
