Planned orders on the same date as the sales or demand requirement
Current situation:
When a demand for an item is placed on a date 2 days from now. The planned supply will be generated 1 day from now. That is confusing.
Some background: the current planning optimization appears to use the Time field in the Inventory Tr...
Master planning must match Customer Batch Attribute requirements for On-Hand inventory
When a customer has specific Batch Attribute requirements, pegging in Master planning must match these Requirements against available Onhand with batch dimension.
Integration production Sequence in Planning optimization
Planning optimization considers capacities and item availabilty. Production sequence is sorting planned production orders without considering capacities and item availabilty. The result is not usable, when having limited item availabity. Sequence planning must be an integrative part of plannin...

optimizing reservation time fence considering lead time
There is no way of reserverving items considering the lead-time of items without having lots of coverage groups with different positive days representing the lead time.
The introduction of "dynamic positive days" will improve the damand planning Process as well as ma...

Keep pegging for firmed orders
In 10.0.43, a new feature is introduced to 'Keep pegging for approved planned orders'. This feature helps in MTO scenario's. This feature would need to be extended to also 'Keep pegging for firmed orders' because pegging might change after running planning optimization again after firming. Nex...
Include Safety stock in pegging when using plannin optimization

Thank you for your input! We considered it and added the "strict safety stock pegging functionality". Please take a look: Safety stock pegging options - Supply Chain Management | Dynamics 365 | Microsoft Learn
Furthermore, the normal safety stock pegging will also be shown if not using the strict pegging.

Order multiples, and Min and Max order quantities on item coverage
We can over-ride most of the coverage group settings on Item coverage, but we can't set specific order multiples, and minimum and maximum order quantities on an item coverage record, although it'd be very useful if we could.
Thank you for your feedback.
Starting with the 2016 Fall release of Dynamics 365 for Finance and Operations, Enterprise Edition we have introduced the possibility to define default order settings (hence all the order quantities) in a way that is closer to item coverage rules: by site, color, configuration, size and style. Unfortunately, you still can't define default order settings per warehouse. Could this be something that you can use to achieve your business scenarios?

when running Planning optimization, firming planned production order using job scheduling doesn't explode the BOM and thus running material check can't find anything to show.
When using deprecated MRP, firming planned production order using job scheduling results automatic BOM explosion and thus running material check works as expected.
