MRP should solve the Delay with resource group

We can set Quantity on Resource load in Route for using resources effectively.

However, the setting is not sufficient for the scenario which has "peak" orders.

For example,

Thank you for your feedback. We need some more details to understand your suggestion better. Can you please help us by answering the following questions?

One potential way of allocating more resources for the production on day 4 is to have multiple active and approved route versions, which have a different From quantity. E.g. You would have a route version with resource quantity 2, for any order for less then 100 pieces and a route version with resource quantity 4, for any order for more than 100 pieces. Would this be an acceptable solution?

Sincerely,

Roxana Christina Diaconu

Thank you for your feedback. Enabling control of planning engines per plan will not be possible without a larger redesign of core parts of both engines. Our current focus is to add additional capabilities to Planning Optimization to enabling additional customers to onboard. Hence, this is currently this is not in our roadmap; however, we are tracking it and if we get more feedback and votes, we may consider it in the future.

Sincerely,
