The DDMRP (Demmand Driven Material Requirement Planning) strategie, based on the Demmand Driven Institute https://www.demanddriveninstitute.com/ is a new practice that has been taken for a lot of customers for optimece inventories.

The Demmand Driven Institute certifies the softwares that providers these solutions that have successfully completed the DDI DDMRP Software Compliance Process . https://www.demanddriveninstitute.com/compliant-software.

Anothers ERPs like SAP S/4HANA, IFS, already has this certification and has a competitive advantage in production prospects and customers agains Dynamics 365.

Dynamics 365 MRP Module can has this certification because has a lot of funcionalities for do this.

The DDMRP compliance criteria by the Demand Driven Institute is intended to ensure that a software has enough features and/or functions to implement, sustain and even improve a DDMRP implementation. The evaluation is FREE OF CHARGE to software entities.

The criteria was written in such a way that it ensures compliance to the method but allows open space for competitive differences, creativity and innovation.

A software that is deemed to be DDMRP compliant will be allowed to use the DDMRP compliance logo for a period of two years.

After two years the software must go through re-evaluation in order to continue to use the DDMRP compliance logo.

I'd like to echo this. We are beginning a D365 re-implementation from 2009 and evaluating our manufacturing and planning processes. We would like to move to the DDMRP process but must use a 3rd party integration to do this. I'd prefer a native solution as we seek to eliminate customizations as much as possible during each upgrade/migration.
