  • Everytime user opens Outlook for CRM, it pops up new window with IE10

There is an issue when using Outlook for CRM 2015 with Internet Explore 10.
It pops up a blank window or log-in window whenever user opens Outlook for CRM.
This is quite stressful for users while IE10 is supported by Microsoft.
Please provide workarounds or fix to this strange behaviour.

Outlook for CRM is Microsoft Dynamics CRM 2015 07.1.0000.1074
Customer's browser is Internet Explorer 10

Note* This does not happen with IE11

  • Request to change the sender details when replying to an email which was sent on somebody's behalf

If you enable other Microsoft Dynamics CRM users to send email on your behalf settings in personal options, other users are able to send email on your behalf.

Currently if you reply to an email which was sent on somebody's behalf, a person who replies to an email becomes an original sender.

If you REPLY ON SOMEBODY'S BEHALF from an email whose email box has been enabled others to send on somebody's behalf, sender should not be user replying an email,
sender and its email address should always be a person who has enabled this personal option.

Also, an owner of Activity records for those emails which were sent/replied on somebody's behalf should be a person who has enabled this personal option. This would be less confusing.

It would be great to have those enhancements available for future use.

  • SharePoint to be able to view record value

When integrating SharePoint and Dynamics CRM Online, currently you can only share FILE NAME in SharePoint.
Instead of having just file name, it should be able to view each value in records such as product price in Opportunity record.

In that way, users can easily create daily reports from SharePoint and check each section of record in details.

  • Ability to auto-sync Contact List in Outlook Client with Dynamics CRM Online and share the contact information with other users

Currently if you want to sync Contact List in Outlook Client, you just need to click 'Track' button there but it only sync with Personal Contact.
Further setting is required if you want to share that synced Contact person to other users in CRM Online. Many customers find it inconvenient.

    Please provide following features :

-Contact List in Outlook Client can automatically sync with Dynamics CRM Online
-Synced Contact Person can be shared with other users in Dynamics CRM Online as a shared contact list

  • Ability to show/hide alert message when email address for Appointment is not added or marked as 'Do Not Allow' email

    I have a request from a customer who does not want to see the alert message like below;
At least one recipient does not have an email address or is marked as "Do Not Allow" email.

If valid email address is not added into Required field and Optional field in Appointment,
or it is marked as 'Do Not Allow' email, the System Admin should be able to hide/show the alert message to avoid any confusion.

  • Ability to create Quick Campaign for custom entity by default in Microsoft Dynamics CRM Online

when creating a Quick Campaign form, you can only include phone calls, appointments, letters, faxes and emails.

I would like to customize these entities on forms by default.

  • Ability to manage emails when creating Appointment with the record which has email address

When creating Appointments, if you include record that has email address for the Required Attendees and Optional Attendees, CRM will send request through emails.

Whichever you have Server-Side Synchronization, or Outlook Client, it would be very useful for users to have control over sending emails to attendees.

  • Ability to see why emails are 'Pending Send' status on GUI

I would like to see why and how those emails are 'Pending Send' status on GUI when you try to send emails from Dynamics CRM Online.

If you could see the reason for having 'Pending Send' status in details, you can decide whether to resend or not.

  • Formatting folder name when integrate Dynamics CRM Online and SharePoint Online

List Components can be used to integrate Dynamics CRM Online and SharePoint Online.
While doing so, if you create new folder from SharePoint Online, the format for the folder name is {Name} + {GUID} .

For On-premise, you can just have the folder name with the format of {Name} by changing the parameter in "CreateSPFoldersUsingNameandGuid" with OrgDBOrgSettings tool.

    Reference:
Title: OrgDBOrgSettings tool for Microsoft Dynamics CRM
    URL: https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/kb/2691237

However, my customer would like to have the same ability in GUI for Dynamics CRM Online in order to set the folder name as {Name}.

  • New feature 2016 : Interactive service hub error when you type in JAPANESE

When creating Knowledge Article and typing JAPANESE words in Title, you cannot continue to type anything once you press Enter key after wards.
This is because its control focus become disabled.
It would be really nice if you could consider the fix for this behavior.

We have seen this behavior in both Japanese tenant and English tenant.
    CRM Online version: 2016 (8.0.0.2091)(DB8.0.0.2086)
