  • Ability to automatically enable emailbox by CRM itself

    When emailbox has been disabled, it would be a lot more valuable for all users if CRM could automatically enables the emailbox again.
    Instead of just displaying an error alert which if not signed in we won't be able to notice, and the owner of mailbox needs to manually click an 'enable' button every single time.
    This action seems to serve no useful purpose. CRM should be able to enable the emailbox by itself.

  • Ability to set data entry rules in text field

    I would like to have a function which users are able to control text data entry rules for single-byte characters and double-byte characters.

    e.g.) The Account's name must be in double-byte characters, and if the name was entered in single-byte characters, it would not be saved.

  • Please provide more public information about 'What's New' area in dashboard in CRM online 2015

    It would be really nice to have more public information on website such as TechNet and MSDN blogs about 'What's new' post area in dashboard. So that users could learn how exactly work when they update records and posts new opportunities in CRM. Users also want to know limitations based on security roles.
    To be able to make the best use of this feature, there should be more information available to users.

  • Time format only has a colon mark for time separator which is not really suitable for Japanese users

    Currently, when you customise the time format in CRM Online, you can only use a colon ???for time separator.
    This is not supportive for Japanese users when we also use ???hh)? and ??(mm)? as time seperator which are written in Japanese. ( e.g. 7?10? for 7:10 )

    It would be really nice to have ???hh)?and ??(mm)?to be added in Time format options.

  • Ability to send emails in TEXT format

    When using Dynamics CRM Online, by default, you cannot use TEXT format to send emails; unless you need to set up Outlook.
    It is very important for users to be able to send emails in TEXT format.

  • User cannot add workflow steps for 'Opportunity Products Entity' in Dynamics CRM Online 2015

    This is by default, you cannot use workflow to add steps for some entities such as 'Opportunity Products entity' in order to update the record.
    It would be very important for many users to have 'Opportunity Products entity' to be able to update the record in workflow.

  • Status Reason for all the outgoing emails in CRM for Outlook should just state as 'Sent'

    While sending emails in Microsoft Dynamics CRM for Outlook, the Status Reason in Activities shows 'Recieved'.
    It would be a lot better if the Status Reason just shows 'Sent' for all the outgoing emails. This would make less confusion about email status for users.

  • CRM keeps acting strange with server-side synchronisation and Email Router settings

    Using server-side synchronisation and Email Router on CRM Online never seems to work correctly, and it is rather unstable.
    Customers keep getting an error message such as 'An error occurred while creating the incoming email "xxx" in Microsoft Dynamics CRM for the mailbox ', and there has been no fix available to overcome the issue.

    A customer has emails settings as below;

    -Server Profile is Microsoft Exchange Online
    -Imcoming emails setting set to Server-side Sync or E-mail Router
    -Outgoing emails setting set to CRM for Outlook
    -Appointments, Contacts, Tasks are using Server-side Sync

    We have looked into Workflows and Permissions, but it does not seem to casuse the error.
    Even looking at Traces for CRM, it did not help us.

    It would be very important for CRM Online users to know that both imcoming emails and outgoing emails are working responsively wtihout any unexpecting errors.

  • The Template for Data Import - 'Opportunity Product' should have 'Opportunityid' look up field in Excel

    The template for 'Ooportunity Product' does not include 'Opportunityid' as the default look up field in Ecxel Column.
    Therefore, when you actually try to import the data, the error code says below;
    [0x80040216] [The parent id is missing.]


    It is very critical that the template for 'Opportunity Product' does not have 'Opportunityid' while 'Opportunity Product' entity is
    a must item in the Opportunity Form.

    Please consider to add 'Opportunityid' look up field in the template for the better experience.

  • Ability to Bulk convert a group of leads from a same company

    It would be great to have a supported way to bulk convert a group of leads where they all come from a same company, and change their status to 'Qualified'.
    It seems very efficient and something that most companies need.
