Change Microsoft Teams dialer behavior to allow set up the notifications
Suggested by Diego Pecharromán – New – 0 Comments
The Microsoft Teams dialer functions similarly to a Microsoft Teams client within Dynamics 365, which is a great feature. However, end users are typically connected to both the Microsoft Teams app and Dynamics 365. When they receive an incoming call, they get two different notifications: one from Microsoft Teams and another from Dynamics 365.
If the user answers the call using Dynamics 365, the application displays the customer entity form and creates a phone call record. Conversely, if the user answers using Microsoft Teams, they cannot see the customer entity form, and the phone activity is not created.
We propose a feature that allows users to answer calls from Microsoft Teams while ensuring that Dynamics 365 behaves the same way as if the call were answered directly within Dynamics 365. This would streamline the user experience and improve efficiency.

Allow any type of person to create opportunities from the client module
Suggested by Jeisson Godoy – New – 0 Comments
Allow any type of person to create opportunities from the client module without taking into account the default configuration in the parameters
When we create Opportunity from ‘Accounts Receivable > Customers > All customers’ and ‘Prospect’ field value in Global Address book is ‘Organization’, system has to set relations for the new Opportunity.
Â
The first relation is standard for all Opportunities – smmOpportunityTable->DitPartyTable
The second one depends on the type of a party.
Â
If ‘Prospect’ field value in Global Address book is ‘Person’ or we create Opportunity right from the ‘Sales and marketing > Relationships > All prospects’ where the record has party type ‘Person’, system establishes relation ‘DirPartyTable - > DirPerson’. If not – relation ‘DirPartyTable - > DirOrganization’ is created.
Â
In our case, we already have ‘DirPartyTable - > DirPerson’ relation, as it is set by system during creation of a Customer of type ‘Person’, and further, when we try to create opportunity from the customer, we get the second relation ‘DirPartyTable - > DirOrganization’, as ‘Prospect’ field value in Global Address book is ‘Organization’ and we don’t create opportunity from the ‘Prospect’ form. Actually, we are trying to have two different relations ‘DirPartyTable - > DirOrganization’ and ‘DirPartyTable - > DirPerson’ for one party, and the system throws an exception as it is impossible.

Business Process Flow - Data Steps under an Inactive Stage should be disabled
Suggested by Tamim Sadikali – New – 0 Comments
When a record is yet to be created, a business process flow will present with the 1st Stage as Active and all subsequent Stages as Inactive. However, Data Steps configured for the subsequent Inactive stages, remain editable. Intuitively, this is wrong - i.e., an Inactive Stage containing editable fields, is a clear contradiction in terms.
As-is, therefore, a business process flow merely **suggests** the correct order for a User to follow - the system does not enforce it. It is, therefore, purely cosmetic - and so of significantly less value than it at first seems.

Dropdown with options in views filtering is not possible anymore in Wave2
Suggested by Mahendra Krishnamreddy Seshadrireddy – New – 1 Comments
In Wave 2 release - We are not getting the dropdown list in Views while filtering, but this feature is available in Wave 1, We feel that old feature is good and easy for us to apply filters on views. It would be great if we get the old filters on Wave 2 also. In wave 1 - If we want to set any of the views as default, we just use to Pin it and it would set to Default, But In Wave 2 - We have to select the view and then click on the button to set the view as default - This is difficult for us to select that button everytime. It would be great if we get that Pinned feature again in Wave 2. -
Room Finder should be available when booking an appointment in Dynamics 365
Suggested by Alexander Vandecaveye – New – 1 Comments
In our organisation we intensively make use of the appointment functionality in Dynamics 365 (Sales). It is nice to see a very seamless integration with the Outlook Calendar app all the users on the appointments created.
But it is very annoying (and somewhat unbelievable) to have the Room Finder absent when booking an appointment in Dynamics 365 . All our user have to go to the Outlook app to book their rooms there in stead of directly in Dynamics.
To attach a room (resource) to an appointment, our users have to follow these frustrating steps: the user creates an appointment in Dynamics -> save and close it -> go to Outlook Calendar -> wait 1 or 2 minutes for their recently created appointment to appear there -> open the appointment -> use the Room Finder to find an available room -> book the room by saving the appointment ( -> then it takes another 4 to 5 minutes for the chosen room to appear in Dynamics Appointments)

I want to see the actual usage of my developer environment
Suggested by Atsushi Yamagishi – New – 1 Comments
Currently, there is no way to check the actual usage in the developer environment, so we would like to improve the function so that it can be checked.
Also, if the usage is close to the capacity limit, I would like to receive a notification when it is exceeded.

Feature to cancel when exporting a view record
Suggested by Wakako Watanabe – New – 0 Comments
If we export with a very large number of view records, the process will take a long time. However, if we make a mistake in this export, we cannot cancel so we have to wait for a long time. The feature to cancel the export could be implemented, customers would be able to proceed with their business more efficiently. -
Allow Email tracking/engagement when a system user (with an internal company domain) is entered in the TO, CC, or BCC field
Suggested by Christopher Perry – New – 3 Comments
Allow Email tracking/engagement when a system user (with an internal company domain) is entered in the TO, CC, or BCC field.
Today, unless the record type included in the email (TO, CC, or BCC field.) is an account, lead, or contact, emails are not tracked. It is a common practice for system users to copy other system users on an email.

About the Custom message function of Administration mode
Suggested by Soichi Saiki – New – 0 Comments
Currently, the Custom message that can be set in Administration mode has been removed, and a message saying that it cannot be edited in the future is displayed.
This Custom message is very useful because it can notify the end user that it is under maintenance.
We strongly hope that will cancel the removal of the Custom message.
