    Dynamic Inspection Header

Suggested by Josef Jenko Needs Votes  8 Comments

Inspections are really great. They make designing and filling out test reports a lot easier. The PDF export of responses as pdf is a good possibility to provide a report to the customer. To use this meaningfully, the form would have to be pre-filled with some dynamic data from the work order incident. E.G. Service-account, customerasset, date of fulfillment..

Filtering within requirement panels schedule board

Suggested by Wouter Baten Needs Votes  0 Comments

Within the schedule board, the requirement panels don't allow to do a filter like contains, begins with, does not contain,...

All filters that you can do perfectly directly on the views on which rhz requirement panels are based. At this moment you can only filter on an exact match.

This should be of great value for planners, to quickly lookup certain requirements

D365 Field Service Mobile Reports PCF Multi-page Support

Suggested by Jens Grambau Needs Votes  2 Comments

As of now you can create a mobile report using the OOB PCF control from Microsoft. Furthermore, you can customize this PCF control to you needs.

Right now a multi page support is missing which means once you have more records to report for one page it continuous on the next page without a page break. The rows will just continue without headers and footer and the lines can be cropped.

For that the request here is to add as a OOB functionality the mutli-page support.

Web resource should be able to access current schedule board context

Suggested by Alexander Heinze Needs Votes  2 Comments

Currently it's possible to add a custom web resource to a schedule board. It would be helpful if 1) the web resource could access the current context, i.e. displayed date range, selected resource, selected booking etc. to show the respective details. 2) an update of the SB context would also a refresh of the web resource. This would be similar to the current behavior of the details pane.

Ability to enter a negative line item on a work order

Suggested by Cary Librero Needs Votes  5 Comments

Currently if a correction is required in the billing of a Work order, there is no ability to correctly apply a negative value. You are able to enter a negative Quantity and/or a negative Unit Amount. However, if the result is a negative amount, the system automatically sets the value to $0.00 rather than just applying the negative amount. As confirmed by MS Support, this is as per design. Currently, the only way to apply the correction is to just remove the line item. We believe it would be ideal for traceability and visibility for the customer (especially on the resulting invoice), to be able to specifically see this correction as a negative line item, rather than just disappearing.

    Asset maintenance calendar/report

Suggested by Alexander Heinze Needs Votes  2 Comments

In particular in Discrete Manufacturing, lots of preventative maintenance work orders are created. Many customers have been asked for a way to visualize assets and the associate (PM) work orders, either as a calendar or as a Gantt chart. This is also helpful when you have a number of asset at the same location (such as wind turbines in a big wind park), and want to get an overview of all jobs associated to that site.

    Support SharePoint in offline mode

Suggested by Timothy Bohte Needs Votes  0 Comments

It would be very nice to able to access documents saved in SharePoint for each record in the mobile app in offline mode. Right now this is not supported. I know SharePoint documents is supported in online mode. But we can't afford people not to be able to do work on the ipad without in case of poor or lacking internet connection. Microsoft actually advises offline mode in the documentation. Best would be to able to edit and create documents as well on SharePoint, but for now I'll settle for read only. We use the standard SharePoint-integration in Dynamics, but all the documents saved here are not accessable in the mobile app in offline mode. Resco has solved this a long time ago and I bet if Microsoft would put their smart people to solve this, it would be solved in no time. Especially if you get the right people from the OneDrive app team to work on this :)

Start week by MONDAY in the scheduleboard

Suggested by Sara Lagerquist Needs Votes  2 Comments

Not everyone lives in America which means that to some people week starts with mondays and not sundays. Right now the week view of the schedule board shows sunday as the first day, which means if you have a booking monday-sunday (which is a full week in europe), it looks like it overlap to next week when it really doesn't.

Can the map in FS scheduling board display the sorted list below?

Suggested by Mie Hovlund Needs Votes  1 Comments

The scheduling board in Field Service has a map to the left, which displays all the work orders on the list chosen below. Currently, it is not possible for the map to only show work orders on a sorted list - for example, if you choose one of the lists and filter on the work orders for a specific date, the map does not update to only show the filtered work orders on that specific date. Can you combine the map and the lists, so the map only displays the sorted list? It would make the planning a lot easier. NetCompany has informed, that they talked to you about this case and that you thought it was a good idea. According to them, you wanted us to suggest the idea on this site, so that you can consider implementing it. Thank you :-) BR Mie Hovlund
