In UCI one has to hover over an activity in the timeline in order to find the button to open the activity. This button is very small and one of the serie of five buttons next to each. This is very unpractical and confusing and therefore I notice that a lot of people click on the wrong button. Especially in the beginning, when they just started working with the new interface. This is terrible for user adoption. Most of the time people, just want to open the activity.
Please make it easier to open the activity in the timeline, for example by clicking on the subject and title, or just anywhere in the activity's area that doesn't link to something else.

We would like to be able to create PowerPoint templates from Dynamics just like Word or Excel. Nowadays PowerPoint templates are more and more used in sales meetings with customers and it would be great if they could be automatically personalized with data from Dynamics :)

We would love to be able to customize the column filter in views. E.g. When you select Filter By on the Account column in a Customer Asset view, it returns all possible results including Inactive Accounts. We would like to be able to filter on account status or type.
Just to be clear, I'm not talking about the filter option on the view, this is regarding the filter button on the column title.

In the classic interface Dynamics remembered what I previously filled in the text boxes. I just had to type one or a few characters and I get a list of suggestions. This helps us to be more efficient. Unfortunately this feature is not available in the new interface. Please add it as soon as possible, because we really need it.

In the timeline on cases email that is send and received is stated as "Closed". When working on cases, this is very confusing for our users. The case is open, but everywhere in the timeline is the word "Closed". We'd prefer that status reason (draft, send, received) for emails or at least to be able to customize which fields/columns are shown on the timeline.

We can add options as a default value in the inspections template. That's awesome!
It's very tempting to use that. However, there is no undo button that removes the option as default value. You can only set it to another value and not remove the default option completely from the question.
We've figured out that the only way of doing that is rebuilding the whole template again.
Please fix this!

It would be very nice to able to access documents saved in SharePoint for each record in the mobile app in offline mode.
Right now this is not supported. I know SharePoint documents is supported in online mode. But we can't afford people not to be able to do work on the ipad without in case of poor or lacking internet connection. Microsoft actually advises offline mode in the documentation.
Best would be to able to edit and create documents as well on SharePoint, but for now I'll settle for read only.
We use the standard SharePoint-integration in Dynamics, but all the documents saved here are not accessable in the mobile app in offline mode.
Resco has solved this a long time ago and I bet if Microsoft would put their smart people to solve this, it would be solved in no time. Especially if you get the right people from the OneDrive app team to work on this :)

When you press the "export answers"-button on the servicetask with the inspection, it will create and download the inspection report. I would like to have the option as an administrator to customize this process. For example:
Ability to remove unanswered questions from the report;
Remove "Add picture"-buttons from the report;
Add text or images to the report;
Attach the report to a note on a record;
Upload it to the SharePoint document location of a record;
Email it to a certain contact, stated on a record.

Firstly, we would like to be able to create questions based on any collumn (also customized, not just default) based on the customer asset table.
Secondly, we would like these questions to be automatically filled out on the inspection form, based on the collumns on the customer asset that is linked to the service task regarding the inspection. We would also like use the rules on the inspection to only show necassary other questions, based on the customer asset answers automically filled out there.
Lastly, it would be great if one would change the predefined answer to one of the customer asset questions, both the rule to show the other questions would be applied, as well as the customer asset to be automatically updated after completing the service task.
If this is too spesific, give administrators the ability to create own question types and create advanced logic in the inpection template. Resco supports this already, I hope Microsoft will follow on short term. This is a huge timesaver for the users and increases the quality of both the inspection as well as customer asset data.

In addition to other great ideas posted here for the mobile app, I would like to address these three challenges with the custom filter for offline mode:
1. You can't test if the filter has the desired outcome before you add it.
2. You need to recreate the same conditions for the views in the mobile app for online mode to match offline and online result of the records.
3. You cannot finetune which collumns should be enabled in offline mode. In other words, all the columns of the records are included. This can cause performance issues with large datasets.
To solve these challenges I would like to be able to add a FetchXml query (the actual xml-text) to the custom filter. By this solution, I can test by forehand in Dynamics, I can reuse it for views in the apps and can filter on the columns I want to sync.
