Project task duration, custom input form
Suggested by Yuki Kishi – Completed – 0 Comments
Please add the following setting items for the work period of the project task.Â
* Settings in the Pex web control componentÂ
 Â
1) Fixed setting that 1 day = 8 hours ⇒ Time value can be setÂ
2) In addition, 1 week = 40 hours, 1 month = 160 hours fixed setting, ⇒ time value can be setÂ
3) When entering only numbers ⇒ Default unit (hours and weeks can be specified) can be setÂ
4) I want you to display the decimal point as well. Currently, if you say 1.5 hours, it will be displayed as 2 hours, etc.Â
5) I want you to be able to specify the man-hours and period respectively.Â
Example: Man-hour = 2 days, period (construction period) = 7/1 ~ 7/4. This is a function that can be done with the desktop version.Â

Not possible to see the percentage complete on a total level for the whole project
Suggested by Stefani Kostadinova – Completed – 0 Comments
In an earlier version of FO D365 user had the possibility to see the percentage complete on a total level for the whole project. The feature is now gone.
The estimate calculation now requires that the "forecast" is entered for all transaction types and compares only expense against expense forecast and hour against hour forecast, etc. This is so far correct if we want to look at the forecast for each transaction type. However, the total forecast model should be able to estimate at an overall level.

multi-user authoring supported PSA and PO
Suggested by Dennis D’Souza – Completed – 0 Comments
2 of our users amend a project schedule on consecutive days (not at the same time) The WBS got corrupted and a duplicate entry appear on the Schedule screen. Microsoft (TrackingID#2108200050001155) said: The problem is that once multi-user authoring happens, the WBS can become corrupted hence we recommend you not to multi-edit. Currently multi-user authoring is not supported in PSA 3.x and PO We would multi-user authoring added to Project Operations. -

Suggested by Tetsuya Kohno – Completed – 0 Comments
About Import of Time Entries. Import Duration has suddenly changed. Before: from Start date to End date of Tasks, We can import all duration of the task at once. After: Only selected week. We have to import the task every week. Please provide the way how to return the import duration to all days of the task, or provide the select button which are "all duration of task" or "only this week". Thank you for your consideration. Currently there is no way to import a big project task list from Excel or an existing Project File. So many of our customers are trying to migrate from Individual Microsoft Project files. -
Vendor Management and Purchase Order Creation
Suggested by Nick Daigle – Completed – 0 Comments
As a project based professional service agency, a large portion of our business is to use vendors to purchase custom project specific goods on behalf of our clients. It would really be the last missing link for our business if Dynamics could offer something like a tab on the project page that would track Vendor Quotes and Purchase Orders. We often bid out different project elements to different Vendors, and being able to track those in one place would be ideal. The selected vendor items then would need to be included and marked up in the Project Estimate. Also it would be ideal if the selected vendor bid could be easily converted into a Purchase Order by the project manager in order to be marked as received by the warehouse staff. Essentially, it seems that Microsoft has worked out the Time portion and the Expense portion, but is missing the Materials portion, aka purchasing goods from Vendors on behalf of customers. Once they can include that capability, Dynamics Project Operations will be close to a complete solution for project based companies! -
Group Projects together into Portfolios
Suggested by Matt Johnson – Completed – 0 Comments
There should be a way to group projects together, similar to PftW with it's Roadmap feature. This could be for reporting or dependency purposes.
