    Feature Request: Option to Cancel Termination Proposals that have not been registered


    Currently, the standard functionality allows for the reversal of lease termination once the proposal has been posted. However, there is no option to delete or cancel a termination proposal that has not been posted. This request is for the addition of functionality that allows users to cancel or delete an unposted termination proposal in case it has been created but not yet published.

    The Start/End dates calandar pop-up on WBS form - Schedule Planning tab to be moved

    On the Project accounting – Projects form – WBS – Schedule Planning tab – if we have multiple tasks, and click on the Start or End date field on first line (or any of the line on top), the calendar pops up and this blocks the Date fields on the below lines. Engine Group users would like to have this Calendar pop up moved towards the right side of the screen (so that it doesn’t block the visibility on the Date fields on the below lines). 1. Create multiple WBS tasks on the Project – 000058. 2. Click on the Start or end date field for the task – Test 1 (upper lines) – Note that it blocks the view of the Date fields on the below lines.

    Project quotation and project quotation confirmation improvements

    The project quotation and the project quotation confirmation documents are based on the same BDM document in Dynamics 365, which makes it impossible to differentiate these documents. When sending a project quotation confirmation you need to state that it is a confirmation. "A confirmation should have a different title than a quotation". These documents needs to be set up in the same way as the sales quotation and confirmation which is two different templates in BDM.


    I also see that there are some unfished configurations regarding the project quotation:

    • Translating the documents using "defined at runtime" is not working
    • There are quite a few tables available compared to other documents
    • Missing form notes

    The settings to designate specific price list beforehand when creating quote records with Dual-Write configuration

    On Project Operations, when the org is configured with Dual-Write, sometimes unintentional price list is set to the field (PriceLevelId) on creating quote records.

    This behavior stems from that the PriceLevelId field is automatically set by default onload JS depending on SQL GUID sort scheme, so sometimes not expected price list is set to the PriceLevelId field.

     

    The record which is set to this lookup field can be manually changed, but it takes some steps, and it is laborious.

    Also, when unintentional record is set to this PriceLevelId field, it took sometimes to notice the wrong record is set on this so it makes difficult for managing quote records.

    It would be great if customers could set the price list record for the PriceLevelId before creating quote records.

    It would be also convenient if users could know which price list record is set in advance before newly creating quote records.

    Timesheet app: It closes, and you lose data when scrolling to fast with the finger downwards

    When you scroll down with your finger, the app closes and all the inserted data are lost, and you have to start all over again.

    I suggest that you either make it much harder to scroll down and thereby close the app or you take away that possibility to close the app that way. Thanks

    Add workflow for project expense journal and Item journal

    Customer need to add “Project Expense” type in the Ledger Journal workflow. There is no out of box approval workflow for project expense & item journal.

    Provide ability to restrict Advance and Retainers to a particular Contract Line or Project

    In Project operations Advance and Retainers are created on the Project Contract Header. This is not restricted in any shape to either a Contract Line or Project. This creates a scenario where when you have a contract where the customer has agreed some time and material lines and some Retainer elements, and you setup the Project Contract with 2 Contract lines. You still cannot have the Actuals related to the contract line setup for the purpose of the retainer being restricted to the Retainer lines setup on the Contract.


    This request is to provide the ability to restrict the retainers/advance on the contract to a contract line. It already requires at least one project to be associated to a contract line anyway, before creating the retainer/advance lines.


    Summary steps


    1. Introduce ability to select a Contract Line when creating retainer / advance lines (optional)
    2. Invoicing of advance or retainer lines will happen as normal
    3. Posting of actuals will happen as normal to a project, which will be related to a contract line
    4. Introduce the ability, at the point of invoicing (when creating the zero invoice) to auto pickup actuals which only relates to the contract lines associated to the retainer lines associated with the same contract lines.


    This ensure that other actuals on the same contract, related to the second contract line, either on a different project or the same project, is till available to generate an invoice with the customer without considering the open invoiced advance/retainer.


    In the absence of adding the restriction, the functionality should behave as normal. Reason for the restriction to be optional in step 1. of the summary steps.

    Bug - Project task grid is not loading initially and working after browsing https://project.microsoft.com/en-US

    This is not new feature request, it is product bug and requires product team attention. When user goes to Project and click Tasks tab, the Project task is not loading. It says "login.microsoftonline.com refused to connect.

    We went through documentation, and ensure Allow cookies (No cookies blocked) Workaround: If user opens https://project.microsoft.com/en-US/ and then open Project --> Task tab, then the task grid is loading. many users in our organization reported this issue. This is annoying user to go to project.microsoft.com to load the tasks.

    Expectation: Project task should load when user navigate to Task tab

    We submitted support ticket with Microsoft 10/14/2021, after 3 months of investigation product team acknowledged this issue. This is planned for future release , but no ETA.

    I am not sure how many other customers has same issue.
