Suggestions for Security Roles Update - with the new UI
Suggested by Cristina Cristofoli – New – 0 Comments
As we are now forced to use the new UI to update security roles, I’ve encountered a few challenges that I believe, if addressed, could significantly enhance the user experience:
- Bulk Updates for Security Roles: The current process for updating security roles can be time-consuming, especially when needing to make changes to multiple roles. Could you consider implementing a feature that allows for easier bulk updates? This would greatly improve efficiency, particularly for organizations that need to manage a large number of security roles.
- Increase the Viewable Rows: The new UI currently displays only four rows at a time, which limits visibility and makes it difficult to get an overview of the settings. Extending the view to show more rows would be a significant improvement, allowing users to see more data without needing to scroll as frequently.
- Optimize View Width: The current width of the permission settings view often requires horizontal scrolling, which can be cumbersome. Reducing the width of the view or allowing for more flexible resizing options would help ensure that all relevant information is visible at a glance, without the need for excessive scrolling.
I believe these enhancements would make the interface more user-friendly and efficient for those of us who regularly manage security roles.

Ability to Hide Dataverse columns from displaying in views & filters
Suggested by Joseph Merhej – New – 0 Comments
In dataverse, many tables come with system fields that customers often do not want to see. This request is about adding the ability to hide a field (system or custom one) from both "Edit Columns" and "Edit Filters" buttons in a table view.
We found a metadata attribute called "IsValidForGrid" that seem to hide fields upon being updated to false, but support team confirmed that it isn't currently possible to update it programatically.

If you also believe that the lots of system un-used fields are bothering & adding confusion to end users, please vote this idea!

when we import solution the account which performed the step owns the flow connections does not provide option to select which account to use connections in flow
Suggested by Anush Alati – New – 0 Comments
when user is importing the solution containing flows in target org it is requesting user to create connections for the flows but as the user who is importing the solution does not have access to connectors users were facing issue importing solutions. So as a work around users who own the connectors were given privilege's to import the solutions and then the privilege is removed but as solution was imported by the user they are able to edit the flows in the production org. User would like to disable the edit option in the dashboard.

On Change event is not triggering when a multi-select field is updated on the portal

Issue - On Change event is not triggering when a multi-select field is updated on the portal
Navigations :
Access portal Management
Go to Advanced forms
Fill advanced form steps Let say (1,2,3,4,5). From customer JQuery we add advanced form steps
Access portal and when the multi select data type field, based on option value which should shows as hide.
Copilot result for the Ask - The issue with the OnChange event not triggering when a multi-select field is updated on the portal can be due to various factors such as code bugs, event handling configurations, or specific behavior of the multi-select field in the portal environment. To troubleshoot this problem, it is essential to review the event handling logic for the multi-select field, ensure that the OnChange event is correctly configured for multi-select fields, and consider any specific limitations or requirements for triggering events on multi-select fields in the portal environment. Additionally, checking for any known issues or limitations related to multi-select fields and event triggers in the relevant documentation can provide insights into resolving this issue effectively.
Ask : is this possible way ?

Alert when changing environment from unmanaged to managed and vise versa
Suggested by Minal Bhosale – New – 1 Comments
Hello Team,
We were planning to get the notification alerts when the power platform environment changes from managed to unmanaged and vise versa as well.
We could be able to set this alert on all the environments as well as to a specific environment as well as per our requirement.
However, there is no such way available now. i would like to post my idea here, thus it can get noted. Thus in the future, we can have this alert added.
Thanks,
Minal

Automatic saving of tables created on Dataverse
Suggested by Maho Takahashi (Japan Concentrix KK) – New – 0 Comments
After linking Microsoft Fabric and Dataverse, if you create a table on Dataverse, it will not be saved on the Azure Synapse Link side.
Therefore, from the Azure Synapse Link side, the table must be managed, and the newly created table must be manually saved as a choice.
The more tables created, the greater the burden on the user.
Therefore, we would very much like to see the introduction of a mechanism whereby tables created on Dataverse are automatically saved on the Azure Synapse Link side as well.

PPAC support issues
Suggested by Peter Jansson – New – 0 Comments
We are a large organization and we often create support cases to Microsoft, I'm writing this from D365FO point of view.
we have 20 application specialists and 15+ external/guests.
In LCS we have the opportunity to see all support cases any person in the organization has created, even guests in our network.
Now when support portal has moved to PPAC you can only view what you alone has created which is not sufficient, I've been told by Microsoft support that this is possible to override if you have admin rights. This is sufficient for a very small number of users as you do not want to assign admin to no more than 2-3 users.
there is also the issue with external/guests to access our PPAC and the support portal.
We need
- roles for access for external/guests
- roles for access for all users to see all support cases by application/app

Coppy from Sandbox to Development Environment
Suggested by Selina Müller – New – 0 Comments
Currently it is only possible to copy a sanbox into an envrionment with the type sandbox. Furthermore it is possible to copy and dev environment in a sandbox and production.
The feature of copying a sandbox in an dev environment is missing. If an dev environment needs to be set up, because of problems with the environment or other circumstances, it should be possible to copy the last state of the sandbox in the dev envrionment. Currently it take a lot of time especially for customer insights to recreate forms and settings in the development environment. Please consider this change, it would make the live of an developer way easier.
