Make the documentation for Partner field/project service more available
There are few documentation available online for Partner field/project service on Portals.
Plese make it more available so we can get used to it.
the document which includes
- Explaination of a scenario for Partner field/project service use on Portals.

Modifying the scope of Single Resource Optimization
The "Optimize Schedule" button on the Schedule Board Resource Cell lets dispatchers optimize the existing schedule of a chosen resource. Unlike RSO, Single Resource Optimization does not book new requirements but optimizes existing bookings. This feature is useful to fill gaps in the schedule ...
RSO - Requirement Resources, add option for Required Resource and enable Constraint (not Objective) to Match Required Resources
This is key for both Field Service and Universal Resource Scheduling.
For Field Service Work Orders, certain Resources are Required on certain Work Orders; for example, because of clearance to access a particular building on a particular military base. Not realistic to create a Skill fo...
Schedule (book) multiple (bulk) Work Orders
In my company we have the following scenario:
filter some work orders (20-50 items) by street and schedule them to a bookable resource person.
Currently this can be done, one by one, but takes a lot of time.
Is there any existent feature that can help us to do this fast...
You can leverage Resource Scheduling Optimization to achieve this scenario. For more, please refer to this document https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/dynamics365/customer-engagement/field-service/rso-overview
Provide more detailed documentation on RSO scheduling
RSO is a great addition to Field Service but there is limited documentation for Dynamics 365 consultants to understand how the optimisation engine operates, which makes it difficult to discuss solutions with clients.
I have tested schedules with many different configuration and th...
RSO white paper based on latest version in the market just got published, please check here for more details https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/dynamics365/customer-engagement/field-service/rso-overview
RSO - Allow Batch Scheduling of Orders.
Currently, the RSO will schedule all Work Orders within a certain territory.
Would be great to be able to search for a batch, or subset of Work Orders in the Work Order View (or Requirements in the Resource Requirements View), multi-select, and trigger scheduling on just that subse...
Thanks Boris for the feedback, yes, this is in our roadmap already, optimization scope extensibility to allow customer define their own view of scheduling, in your case, optimize a sub-set of work orders not always per territory

RSO available on more than one organisation at a time
The Resource Scheduling Optimization add-on can only be deployed on one organisation or instance per tenant at a time. I read this as meaning that, once live, any testing using the RSO either happens in the Prod instance or has to be done out of hours.
Could the RSO be available o...
It’s possible to have more than 1 RSO deployment on multiple Dynamics365 Organizations which on the same tenant, but customer need to purchase additional RSO entitlement . if they are enterprise account, can contact their local account manager to purchase additional RSO

RSO - Aggregate Total Work Orders Scheduled, Total Work Orders Modified, Total Travel Time on Scheduling Optimization Requests and Show in grid on Scheduling Optimization Schedule form
Would be useful to display this data in the grid to compare subsequent iterations of RSO executions. Ideally, would be useful to be able to roll back to a specific iteration of the RSO if a subsequent iteration results in fewer Work Order Scheduled or more total Travel Time than a prior iterat...
Thanks Boris for the feedback, yes , this is part of what if analysis scenario we are planning for future roadmap: more analytical statistic to show # of work order, # of travel time, # of working hours etc optimized for specific RSO run, and with the capability to compare multiple runs and rollback if subsequent run doesn't satisfy business goal
Update Help & Training documentation
Please provide updated and more detailed documentation. Your documentation is out of date which just makes it so difficult to understand the module functionality and provide clients with clear answers when they ask questions regarding anything but the most basic scenario's.
Thanks for the feedback, Team is working on publishing more training /readiness documents
RSO - Setting to build a schedule for an explicit date, not only relative offsets
Today the RSO can only be set up to run for a relative range: the range offset: 2 hours, 1 day, etc.
There is no way to specify "I would like to create a schedule for Monday, 3 July 2017."
This frequently results in multiple runs of the RSO to ensure the schedule is built for the...
Thanks Boris for the feedback, we recently release RSO new build for Dynamics365 v9.0 org, there is a new feature called Schedule Board Integration, on the very right, there is a tab called 'Optimization' with optimization scope information prepopulated, you can modify From/To info directly with exact date/time like the scenario you mentioned then save back to your original scope.

Thank you for your feedback. Currently this is not in our roadmap; however, we are tracking it and if we get more feedback and votes, we may consider it in the future.
