We have been looking at Workflow usability. The Work Items Assigned To Me form is currently the one place to go to look at workflow work items but it doesn't have the useful type-specific columns that help users triage and process the work items quickly. A workspace that provides easy access to those type-specific work item lists is a solution that we have been talking about. It is great to see this being voted up, please add more votes :)
