In cases where we have a failure in a Sub-Workflow for line approval (see PO Invoice Line Review or PR Line Review), the user would see the failure in the Main Workflow, but then need to open the Workflow element activities of the Sub-Workflow and examine the records line by line, from the Sub-Workflow History, to identify the message for which specific line, what error they got.

This is fine on orders with up to 5 lines, however the majority of businesses may have orders with a few hundred lines and this would cause the users to reopen line by line and manually examine all. The impact on this to the productivity is huge, for Procurement/AP teams with high volumes.

This is a current framework design limitation, however we would like to have it in the future, for both convenience and productivity reasons.

Good idea - if there is an issue within the sub-workflow and the workflow stops, this is not visible within Common > workflow history as the status of the main workflow shows instead. Therefore, the workflow status shows as Pending although there is actually an error.
