When operating a guide the 'digital card' with the text + images etc always appears directly infront of the user. This blocks the machine / equipment (+holograms) being worked on, which is quite annoying. The operator then has to move the digital card out of the way to see the machine + holograms. This means it's pinned to that position and the operator needs to unpin the card before moving to next step (via hand gesture or voice command). It would be great if the digital card can appear slighly to the left or right of the users direct line of sight. I suggest having an option in Settings to adjust this so by default it can be how it is now but if a user wants to change this they can select the option to have the card appear 45 degrees to the right or left (for example).

Assets need organizational functionality. When creating a guide, I see all of the Guides content created within the organization. This has a big impact on the scalability of guide creation - particularly when a manufacturing company has many assemblies and/or assembly instructions are complex. The "Library" should have options for: - Creating a folder structure - Having a guide-specific library. If I make a guide for assembly 1234X, having a guide-specific library would free me from having to scroll through 1234X models in my library every time I need an asset for any guide. - User specific library assets ("My Assets") - Sharable asset functionality (I realize this exists in a round-about way through groups). This would allow me to have my own personal assets but share them with individuals who may need it - as opposed to automatically making everything I do available. I think the process should not be "automatically make everything available to everybody" (with the exception of having an admin create a user group), but rather revolve around the concept of showing only what is needed. This would greatly improve the guide making experience and would make manageability of the guide making process much more organized.

We have on several occasions been asked by customers to develop Guides content in our environment for eventual use in theirs. While the public preview version of the Content Migration Tool is better than nothing, we have encountered obstacles to using it in the real world. It requires simultaneous access to both the source and destination environment by the same person, and customer IT organizations are often unwilling or unable to provide a temporary Guides license for this purpose. It requires admin access to a local PC (which many customers restrict) and requires running a script that is unsupported by virtue of being in public preview against a destination production environment, which has generated anxiety also. A preferable solution would be to have some sort of standardized export/import format and allow for Guides content to be exported from one instance (if the exporters has appropriate rights), then imported to another. Even the ability to export a guide's structure and text content (without media or objects) would be a significant benefit.

There are some very compelling use cases for GCC-H deployments of MS Guides for DoD sub-contractors alongside Remote Assist, which is now GCC-H, Dynamics 365 Field Maintenance, PowerApps and PowerBI which are all GCC-H, OneDrive, which is now GCC-H, Teams and M365 which are all now also GCC-H. I believe that the Dynamics 365 Guides team is missing out on HUGE product placement potential that comes with providing such an easy to use MR work instruction solution. There a multiple programs where tying a QR code to access cloud base products would be great. Whether its for security, warm fuzzy's, or better integrate, Microsoft needs to create its own first part QR code generator for Guides and the whole dany D365 ecosystem.

In Dynamics 365 CRM, it is possible to use the Audit Summary function to retrieve certain data. You are able to retrieve a log of associate/disassociate entities. In other words you're able to see which permissions have been changed and who made the change. However, this data is unfortunately not exportable, neither in CRM nor in the Microsoft Compliance Center. This would be a great asset for auditing purposes if exporting the data was possible.

When using the HL2 to record video, there should be a timer displayed to indicate to the recorder how long the video is. Limit is about 5 minutes, so knowing how long there is left will help. Also, recorders can add a few seconds at the beginning, in between actions and at the end. This will make editing the video easier with the extra frames.

When running the Content Migration Tool script add an option to replace existing Guide and Guides content. Right now our workflow is to make changes in our tenant and then migrate the changes over to our customer's. Currently the only option is to make a Guide's copy and migrate the copy. Thanks!

It should be possible to choose at the start the standard lamguage(s), all guides with these language(s) should than be filtered out. Background: To use the same guides tutorial (content) in different langauges for different countries. Also a copy paste cfunction of guides tutroials should be available to allow creatign fast content in different languages.
