It would be nice to load in a single video to the library and then be able to choose the start and end times for each step. It would save space in the library so that you're not having to load in several short clips to build a guide.

I think it would be useful to have a version control system for guides that are created. This is common when you are digitizing work instructions. You would normally have previous versions of WI's/Guides to keep track of changes in processes. It would also help to have validations or an approval workflow for new versions of a Guide.

Currently, users have to operate the guide on the HoloLens app. I think there could be a benefit to operating the guide on the PC app. This could allow a bigger buy in to the application and support users that are both in the field or in the office. Maybe this could also allow other integrations to work with the app when running on the PC.

Frequently there are issues with scanning the QR Code or Object anchors, such that the anchor is detected but the detection is dislocated when subsequently running the Guide. Nothing has moved, but the detected anchor is far from the originally detected location, and all associated assets likewise incorrectly placed. This happens with both QR Codes and Object anchors. My idea is to allow the user to manually adjust the anchor location/orientation to override or update the position of the anchor. This would allow for better post-detection performance, as well as accommodate scenarios when detection is not easily achievable (tight space constraints for example, with Object anchors specifically).

I think it would be worth if Microsoft give us (in the Developer Program) a chance to create one Environment with all specifics needed. The Developer Program is useless to me if I can not try out things on Power Platform, that I need in future for my work. So it´s not possible to learn this Microsoft product without any capacity. I think it should not be necessary to pay for capacity if you want to learn it.

I'd like to be able to change preferences so follow mode is off as default, and can be switched on as needed (rather than always on as default).

When opening a Guide, the step cards reset to eye level. I want to be able to pin them in my environment, like I can with holograms, so they do not move and i can refer back to their location.

The search function for Task Guides produces results that are not user-friendly.

The task recordings our team has uploaded are very simple, but a simply-worded related search almost never produces a logical output.

For example, I know for 100% certain we have a task recording uploaded to the BPM called "Create a Purchase Order."

But when I type in "create a purchase order" into the Task Guide search bar, that task recording does not appear. This is the case regardless of what page I am using at the time that I search.

Sometimes, even when they do appear, they appear toward the end of the list. For example, when searching for a task guide called "Invoice a Vendor Purchase Order" (which is the exact name of the task recording I created), the correct task guide appears about halfway down the list. The options that appear first are not closer to the search text in any way. Sometimes they are entirely unrelated and I wonder why they would even show in the first place.

This reduces the user's willingness to use the task guides and is a major challenge during training. Please fix ASAP!

Wish there is future option inclusion to create a BOM design based out of multiple guides BOM templates and feature the option to easily generate bibliography potentially applied on the new BOM design or BOM design version, for purpose to easily identify, and/or create credits based on the BOM templates.

Wish there is future option to include a unique number sequence, if ever featuring guides on production for purpose of BOM designs templates and BOM designs for purpose to easily process a potential production order or for purpose to easily track BOM versions, BOM Versions drafts, approved, rejected, or other.
