Possibility to hide 'cancel all' button when right-clicking on daily view
Suggested by Thiemen Albers – New – 0 Comments
When right-clicking on a booking on the hourly view, the 'delete' button is shown
When right-clicking on a booking on the daily view, the 'cancel all' button is shown.
Both actions have different outcomes. In the first case, the booking is deleted. In the second case, the booking still exists.
Ideally, both views should have the same button. It makes no sense to change the logic depending on the hourly/daily view. Another option would be to make it possible to hide buttons on the schedule board. This way the unwanted button can be hidden.

Make validation of Field Service Plugin Steps configurable, as validation breaks down some business cases
Suggested by Rolf Weiglein – New – 0 Comments
The validation in the plugin step "Field Service: Update (pre-operation) for msdyn_workorder" breaks down our business process in some cases and the error "The currency must be the same as the currency on the price list."Â occurs. In the error cases the data comes from our ERP system and in some cases we have that data constellation there. Since the currency is not relevant for us in D365 with regard to invoicing, we would like to turn off the validation. So it would be good if it could be configured, if the validation is active or inactive.

Display customized card form on Power Apps Grid Control
Suggested by Akira Honma (Japan Concentrix KK) – New – 1 Comments
Data displayed on view as a mobile app is shown as card form when the screen size is small.
Currently, displaying customized card form is doable only on deprecated legacy read-only control.Â
However, Power Apps Grid Control cannot display customized card form.
Customized card form can display many columns and can sort columns.
It would be much more convenient if Power Apps Grid Control could display customized card form, because legacy read-only control can display it.

Behavior buttons "refresh" and "show chart" not stable in offline first
Suggested by Charles Still – New – 0 Comments
I am using Field Service for Android application and i'm using default settings (environment create from scratch with no customization)
Following the process below, in some case "Refresh" button and "Show chart" disappear, and reappear.
- Configure "Field Service Mobile" in "Offline first" mode (disable classic offline mode in app settings).
- Make the first sync in mobile phone, wait until app be ready to use offline data
- Close the app
- Re-open the app : button "Refresh" and "Show chart" aren't showing up.
- Navigate to an other table
- Go back to home page : both buttons are available.
What are the prerequisites to see those buttons, is it a normal behavior ?
I made this suggestion after a MS support request.

Time Entry Submit and Approval Process
Suggested by Scott LeFante – New – 0 Comments
Time Entry for field service is lacking some basic functionality - submission, review by manager and approval/rejection.
My recommendation would be to have the same functionality within Field Service Time Entry that exists in Project Operations:
- Technician on Mobile can submit time entry / entries for approval by manager. Entry Status = Submitted
- Once submitted, the technician could recall, if NOT approved.
- Once Submitted, the manager reviews:
- If Approved, the entry status = Approved
- If Rejected, the entry status = Returned and the Manager MUST enter a reason why.

Product Bundles in Field Service for Work Orders
Suggested by Marvin Reinknecht – New – 0 Comments
Currentyl it's possible to create product bundles in Field Service, but I can't set the Field service product type. So it's not possible to use them on the Work Order.
It would be super helpful if product bundles could be used on the Work Order.
It's a frequently asked requirement of dispatchers to add bundles on the Work Order.

Enhance Scheduling Logic to Support Multiple Time Windows and Work Hours Constraints of a customer
Suggested by Ashwini Ranadhir – New – 0 Comments
Customers often have multiple time windows for their availability, which can vary across different days of the week. In Field Service - RSO, the scheduling engine currently only considers time constraints defined in the Promise Window (Promised Start Time and Promised End Time). This approach is insufficient when a customer location has specific constraints, such as being closed during lunch hours or closing earlier on Saturdays and Sundays.
By default, the Account table includes a column called 'Work Hours Template', which gets copied to the Resource Requirement when a Work Order is created.
I propose an enhancement to the scheduling logic to either:
- Leverage the Work Hours Template as a time-based constraint directly on the Resource Requirement.
- Provide a solution to capture and apply multiple time windows (e.g., closed hours or variable hours) in the scheduling process to ensure accurate and efficient scheduling

Validation on invalid Month/Day combinations when filling/updating reccurence setting of the Agreement Booking Setup
Suggested by Jos Uijl – New – 0 Comments
When filling in the reccruence on the Agreement Booking you are able to input month day combinations that are not possible.
For example when you selecect every 31st of November a booking date should be generated, the system allows you to apply this, and even when it is set to yearly, the system will start to generate Agreement Booking Dates for every day, assuming the system cannot find 31st of November.
Would be great if the system gives a validation error when a Users selects a Month and Day that does not exist, so user errors like this are prevented.

To make .heic format files be a supported format for exporting responses from Work Orders
Suggested by Martin Dantes – New – 0 Comments
With the fast-phasing transition and growth in technology, there are several file formats that have been developed and being developed, especially for mobile devices.
By experience, we have problem in exporting some of the work order service task responses due to a specific file format that is not supported, which is .heic. This file format is commonly produced by Apple gadgets such as IPhone and IPad. Since field service usually uses mobile. With that, I suggest that this kind of file format be supported especially for Field Service apps, at the least.
Thank you and have a great day!
