Dynamics 365 Field Service

Want to book a resource and make use of booking method values like " Front Load Hours" via Web API.

Work hour template calendar currently has no UI. Need help to View WHT calendar directly.

Currently, it is not possible to create a Booking record (created from a Work Order) whose related Booking Status (a lookup to the bookingstatus entity) has the status 'Proposed'.

This is a huge limitation because, due to this, we cannot use the 'Ignore Proposed Bookings' option on the Schedule Board for Booking records created from a Work Order.

Would like to determine whether there is a way to develop a method that only "Designated" Customer records are sync'd over to the Mobile environment, based on user assignment, so that users with multiple records do not necessarily have to have all Customer records they are assigned to in the Web environment shared with them within the Field Service Mobile environment.

The designation of

which Customer records a user is assigned to that would appear in Mobile should

be controlled only be users with the ' Admin' roles.

In same way if any personal views also have been created in web , it has been controlled in web to get this access in Mobile.

This could help

improve the overall user experience with the Field Service Mobile environment

& allow the Mobile environment to perform more efficiently.

When creating a bookable resource, in the "work hours" tab you can set a capacity for any given work day.

However, it is still possible to overbook above this capacity limit. For example, if a resource has a capacity of "1", it is still possible to book them for multiple work orders in a single day.

The purpose of this idea submission is to change the "capacity" function to prevent overbooking of resources on work orders.

The user story is as follows: "As a field service user, I want to be able to set a capacity for each bookable resource so that I can prevent them from being overbooked for work orders in any single given day."

Hello Microsoft team!

Several PCF controls exist for multiple lines of text fields. Among others, "Pen Input" and "Signature Control" are used by our customer. However, the resolution is unfortunately very low and pixelated. As a partner (ORBIS SE), we have already opened a ticket (TrackingID#2405150050000961) and received the following feedback: 

If you want the product owners to consider this request, this ask would fall into a Feature Request category and Microsoft does not currently have any plans to invest in this. Please consider our Ideas List (dynamics.com) Portal to request this feature.> 

Our customer would like a better resolution, as our customer drives to his customers with tablets and has the order signed after completion. For legal reasons alone, we would like there to be a way to improve the resolution of these PCF controls. We are aware that an improved resolution also requires more storage space, hence the idea of integrating a way to make these PCF controls sharper.

adding public holidays into schedule board for 1year and have the day colour coded in different color

-this is so we know at first glance in schedule board that resource need to have their schedule for that day changed

Data displayed on view as a mobile app is shown as card form when the screen size is small.

Currently, displaying customized card form is doable only on deprecated legacy read-only control. 

However, Power Apps Grid Control cannot display customized card form.

Customized card form can display many columns and can sort columns.

It would be much more convenient if Power Apps Grid Control could display customized card form, because legacy read-only control can display it.

I am using Field Service for Android application and i'm using default settings (environment create from scratch with no customization)

Following the process below, in some case "Refresh" button and "Show chart" disappear, and reappear.

1. Configure "Field Service Mobile" in "Offline first" mode (disable classic offline mode in app settings).
2. Make the first sync in mobile phone, wait until app be ready to use offline data
3. Close the app
4. Re-open the app : button "Refresh" and "Show chart" aren't showing up.
5. Navigate to an other table
6. Go back to home page : both buttons are available.

What are the prerequisites to see those buttons, is it a normal behavior ?

I made this suggestion after a MS support request.

the custom button that we are using to upload pictures in Field Service App/WEB currently does not support HEIC format in Inspection template entities and more. we would like ability to have the format HEIC supported.
