I am writing to inquire about the "Work order recap with Copilot in Field Service" feature. We have been experiencing difficulty finding usage insights and feedback submitted by users on the Work Order recap feature. Are there any tables available to look into these insights? We have checked in documentation and also Bing Copilot and raised a support ticket, but the conversation has been going on for 3 weeks with no resolution. It would be very helpful if there was a documentation or FAQ available for all the list of D365 Copilot features to direct/help customers and our Engineer Team where to find the usage and feedback insights.

For users that work shift work / night shift. It has been requested that a feature be added to enable them to toggle dark mode to better support working at that time of day.

For mobile users, this would mean the screen was not bright and a driver distraction and for schedule users it would align to the other applications they are using in parallel with D365 which support Dark mode.

Users would like the ability for the mobile device to indicate the number of unread notes they have in the timeline indicated on the tab.

For example, if the mobile user has 4 unread notes, then the tab would have the number 4 on it, similar to you would see with outlook, sms or alerts in other applications.

A client of ours needs the schedule board to be automatically refreshed upon closure of bookable resource booking.

Say, user clicks on an existing bookable resource booking on the schedule board, the form opens up and the user changes some data and clicks on save & close.

Client would prefer the schedule board to immediately reflect the changes performed by the user on bookable resource booking form.

The autorefresh functionality has some issues, it isn't working correctly in some instances but even if it did, there would be two limitations/issues :

• As far as i know, autorefresh would be applied only if starttime, endtime or resource has been updated in any of the bookable resource bookings, hence if the user changes some other fields it wouldn't work (even when the changed fields are present in the cell on schedule board)
• Decreasing autorefresh interval seconds (msdyn_scheduleboardrefreshintervalseconds) to reflet changes in less time, would cause performance issues (much usage of API to query changes)

So, we would highly recommend that Microsoft introduces a configurable option, maybe a boolean field on the entity msdyn_schedulingparameter, which when set to true would cause the schedule board to auto refresh on save & close of bookable resource booking form.

The patch request for the bookable resource booking entity is currently consuming way too much time due to the cache reload from the backend. This is also affecting a single-record transaction, which does not make sense and affects the user's daily experience.

The cache load should be done in an asynchronous way, so when users use the system, it does not take too much time.

Business users go to https://www.microsoft365.com/apps?auth=2&home=1 to access the apps. As the apps have same name in TST/UAT/PREPROD and PROD they could see all the apps and confused to identify the production app from the list. The environment is not available for model-driven apps. The idea is to add the environment name along with App name. The environment is available for Canvas Apps. I have raised a ticket 2403270030006426 with Microsoft support to Investigate this issue. User Experience improved a lot with the new Work Order Experience. Unfortunately the Business Process Flow is not available.

In our current scenario the Work Order has a Lifecycle of 5-6 stages which include Planning and Scheduling but not only. In terms of usability and business requirements it would be beneficial to use new Work Order Form components together with BPF.

That´s why the request is to make the BPF also available on the new Work Order Experience.

Would it be possible to have prefilled fields, such as the date, and other info directly pulled out from the work order owner (name of engineer that imported the form, serial number the work order relates to, etc).

Also, customized template layout really is a big thing - the template could be use to prove the job was done as per the manufacturer recommendations/specification, but nowhere can we place the manufacturer logo, or customized style. Oh, and page numbers would be great too.

Hi I looked at the barcode option but couldn't find information about it, and in Preview mode it is grayed out - perhaps it is because I have no USB scanner connected on my laptop? But that would be great to scan the barcode off a label using a cellphone/tablet camera.

Please advise how we can use this feature, thanks in advance!

Rather than using a readonly textbox, it would be great to have an option in the Tool box that would be used as a Section Separator. It would need a name and a description field. This would be awesome :)
