On project's Customer Advance/Retainer form: add toggle to disable/enable auto invoice email.

Suggested by Jeffrey Anderson – New  – 0 Comments

As Project customer advances/retainers generate project invoice proposal. If workflow and auto invoice emailing is active, the retainer/customer advance invoice would be emailed.

For many clients, the retainer/customer advance invoice is NOT emailed to the customer. Often the funds are received w/o an invoice, and the retainer/customer advance email is used for payment reconciliation. A simple toggle on the "Request a customer advance" form to enable/disable auto-invoice email would.

Due date for Customer Retentions on Project accounting invoices

Suggested by Ravi Nagarajan – New  – 0 Comments

Currently, we are able to add a Retention percentage for T&M and FP projects. This calculates and posts the amount of Retention.

However, there is no visibility as to due date for these Retention amounts. Not all Retentions are available to be claimed after the end (or only after the end) of the project. Some of them could be progressively claimed. In fact, some of these could be claimed in installments as well.

It would be useful to have a separate field to capture the due date for Retention (user to enter) as a minimum so that this could be followed up. Ideally, there should be separate payment terms associated for Retention Amounts as well with its own due date schedules

Using a fixed exchange rate and charges on a Project sales order results in an error during invoicing - Transactions on the voucher do not balance

Suggested by Kelsey Verdickt – New  – 0 Comments

When entering a fixed exchange rate on a sales order header, adding charges and trying to invoice via a project invoice, the transaction currency amount of the charges code is not converted into accounting currency using that fixed rate.

Only the vendor and profit amount are correctly converted using that fixed rate, this leads to an error that the project invoice is not balancing in accounting currency.

The charges code should also be correctly converted towards the voucher using that fixed rate.

Transfer of unused vacation balances from one year to the next

Suggested by Edvard Sørhaug Tansøy – New  – 0 Comments

We request a setup for transfer of unused vacation balances from one year to the next in timesheet setup. Whilst it is possible to setup a maximum carry-forward in the leave and absence plans. That same setup does not exist in the time and attandance configuration.

Resourcing Company is not working properly in integrated environment of Project Operation and F&O)

Suggested by Rajesh Pandey – New  – 0 Comments

When we book any resource via schedule boards on project against any resource request, resourcing Company is not working properly in integrated environment of Project Operation and F&O. As a standard functionality after booking when project team member record gets created resourcing company is getting update as per project owning company while it should be resourcing company as per bookable resource booked against that resource request.

      Its a bug.

Whenever we add any field with datatype as File, the field is being locked till the form was saved

      Suggested by Bharath Baddipadige1 – New  – 0 Comments

Whenever we add any field with datatype as File, the field is being locked till the form was saved.

D365 should allow to make customizations on the field with Data type as File (when field created)

When the Time view has a reference field, the labor input can also be automatically calculated

      Suggested by Dmss6_sys Design – New  – 0 Comments

In the previous PSA version, when the view has other reference fields, the time input can be automatically calculated. I hope this part of the logic is the same as before (now javascript has no judgment logic for this part)

Purchase order auto text in text box

Suggested by Jill Gordon – New  – 0 Comments

~~In future I would truly appreciate the fast and efficiency of when choosing the appropriate project name/number in a line in a PO that the project name and number would all automatically appear in the text box for that PO line.

I am currently copy and pasting the project name and number into each PO line's text box since it is valuable information to have in plain site for reviewers as a quick reference when approving POs as well as to show up in reports for staff that read those reports. Please everyone vote for my idea. ~~

      Suggested by Prakash J – New  – 0 Comments

      Hi Team,

when we have multiple rows or pages, when we try to create new row under desired WBS, row creating at last same same record as expected but page moving to top after creating row. customer has to move to new row manually. which is system design .

this is replicating in standard environment as well.

Kindly help customer to fix this issue in coming versions as they have to move manually to right row and page manually.

      Thanks in advance.
