Dynamics 365 Project Operations

For an expense category where the ‘Include in anti-corruption’ parameter is set to ‘Yes’ and the user has included an expense with that category on the Expense report from the mobile app; while submitting the expense report from the app, the system gives the below error and does not allow the user to submit such expense.

“The expense report contains an expense using an anti-corruption category. Ensure that the anti-corruption attestation is completed or use a different category.”

The Expense mobile app should provide an option to complete the anti-corruption attestation.

Current Behavior and Known Issue

The WBS task ID is currently not considered during the import process using DMF. As a result, the original task order from the import file is not retained once the data is imported into the production environment. This behavior has been documented under known issue 963721 on LCS.

This limitation has led to significant overhead for customers, especially those managing large volumes of projects and WBS tasks and might cause a critical blocker for go-live readiness

Design Change Request:

Introduce an option within the DMF import process to retain the original WBS hierarchy, including task ID order, as defined in the import file.

For Project Contract Line Milestones you need to manually calculate the price for the milestones. In most common cases the milestones are like:

1. 20% of the Total amount before start of the project
2. 50% of the Total amount at the beginning of the project
3. 30% of the Total amount at the end of the project

It would be an added functionality if you can add a Project Contract Line Milestone and add the Percentage in a field and let Dynamics365 calculate the price and fill in the price.
