    Control End-Users/Team Owners capability to raise a MS Support Case

    End-users/Teams Owner of Teams Dataverse are able to raise support request without the knowledge of the Power Platform Admins. Admins do not have the visibility to track the active cases with Microsoft and do not have the visibility to the issue.

     

    -When an end-user is a Team Owner of a Teams Dataverse Environment. They automatically have the “System Administrator” role(since we have a large tenant the scale of Teams Dataverse is huge).

    -When an end-user has a Power BI Pro licensed assigned.


    Workarounds:

    ·       remove the user from being a Teams Owner

    ·       remove the Power BI Pro license.

    blocked the apps(PowerApps, Milestone, and etc.) in Teams that creates Teams Dataverse.


    A better workaround is to send notification or alerts to Power Platform Admins. It will help track tickets and support the users who are in need before they raise the Microsoft Case.

    PEC with p7m attachment

    Remove the followinig product limitation: Dynamics has no way of decrypting the certified email unfortunately. Attachments of this kind of email (in Italy called PEC) have arrived into dynamics like file with p7m extension and this format is not readeble for users.


    We have open this case to solve the problem "PEC p7m illeggibile - TrackingID#2209220050000276 " but you have answered to insert an idea on this form.

    The left menu bar supports adaptive change of width

    Hi Microsoft product team


    We are Xiaomi International Project Team.Now Xiaomi users encounter a big difficulty using D365 Customer service.


    In many countries in Europe and Southeast Asia, we have set up multiple languages to support system operations in local languages.But the system menu only displays two words +(...) after supporting multiple languages。The menu name is not displayed completely.Viewing the menu is very inconvenient. We can only move the mouse to see the details.Our users are reporting that this operation is troublesome and expect it to be optimized.

    Enhancements to the Customer Service hub app

    For users using Customer Service Hub app, being able to use the Dynamics 365 Customer Service as a feature is very beneficial for users who primarily use this app.

    Allow larger Embedded PowerBI Reports in PowerPages and PowerApp Portals.

    Please enable greater functionality for Embedded PowerBI Reports in PowerApp Portals and Power Pages.


    Please enable:

    • Custom sized PowerBI Reports in Portals, including the ability to size as an entire page in a portal if possible.
    • Ability to Remove and/or relocate (to top of report) the NavigationBar from PowerBI Reports Embedded in Portals.
    • Ability to remove the Filter Pane of Embedded PowerBI Reports in Portals.


    The current PowerBI Embedded functionality limits it to "height: 600px".

    I have tried to manually override the 600px height with my own custom CSS many different ways.

    The Microsoft Support Team has tried to achieve the same with custom CSS as well as custom java, in the end, they were unable to manually override the height and asked me to lodge a feature request.


    Please add more extensibility to the Embedded PowerBI functions of Portals.

    FEEDBACK on the Wave 2 2022 Customer Service UI changes

    So I've written extensive feedback on some of the UI/UX choices/changes for wave 2 2022 release of customer service. If you want to read the full feedback see link below:

    To summarise:

    • Timeline action order changes that doesn't actually reflect in the timeline needs to be fixed
    • Expanding or collapsing emails in timelines now needs to click View more or View less instead of just clicking the general email container. This requires a lot of scrolling when you're trying to collapse a long email.
    • Inserting email templates. You now do not have the recently used option in the selection which really affects orgs with large amounts of templates.
    • Templates seems to remember what view (tile, grid, list etc) but not the filters. Which again affects orgs with large amounts of templates


    Some of the UX choices legitimately dumbfounds me and makes me question whether there's a actually UX team that reviews this changes before implementing it.

    Allow conditions when using "Does not contain data" with related records in Advanced Find

    Advanced Find view supports a "Does Not Contain Data" filter for a related record which is great.This enable to write a query such as Find all the lead records which do not contain any related tasks. 


    Unfortunately, it's so far not possible to define any filter conditions for the related record in the current implementation when using "Does not contain data" ("Conditions cannot be added under this") which would very important or even required in many cases. This limits the capabilities of Advanced Find and makes it necessary to use some workaround or 3rd party tool to be able to create such views. 


    It would be great if this limitation can be removed (allowing to specify conditions whether using "Contains Data" and "Does not contain data"). 


    (Please adjust "Product" and "Category" for this idea if appropriate.)

    Copy environment - Only Application Data option

    In the admin center we have to options when copying across environments:

    • everything - (application data + customization + schemas)
    • Customization and schemas only


    There should be a third entry to just copy applicational data if the mappings are compatible.

    Put back the View More/View Less functions at the Top of the Email Message in the Timeline

    Put back the ability to 'view more' and 'view less' functions at the top of an email in the timeline. This functionality was removed in the 2022 Wave 2 update. Users do not need to scroll to the bottom of a 5 page email to 'view less' when the most recent information in an email thread is at the top.
