Uniform search options F&O and CE
Suggested by Marie-Hélène Eechaudt – Under Review – 0 Comments
We find that the search capabilities between Microsoft's different solutions are not quite the same.Â
For instance, Finance & Operations has more options for more targeted searches than Customer Engagement currently has.Â
When you have a list page open in F&O, you can easily search on the different column headers in F&O, making it easier to search for a specific record. Meaning that on header 1 you can do an exact search, where on header 2 you can use wildcards,...
In CE, you have the advanced search where you have to specify a correct search string in order to find the results.Â
For users who have to switch between the 2 applications, this is can be quite confusing.Â
In addition, in F&O you have more search options on header level such as 'is one of'.Â
This allows you as a user to easily see different search results in one view.Â
E.g. the customer has to be of type X and Y
In short, it would contribute to the realisation of a one ecosystem if CE's search options were aligned with those of F&O.

BPF expanded display state width
Suggested by Jef Elst – Under Review – 3 Comments
We use Business process flows to capture data for cases. To make it easier for the user, the BPF is expanded by default via javascript. Problem is that the width of the BPF details is too small to for example show the customer name completely. Suggestion: make the width of the expanded BPF width customizable via Javascript. Relevant documentation: https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/powerapps/developer/model-driven-apps/clientapi/reference/formcontext-ui-process/setdisplaystate -
Make make.powerapps.com respect theme defined for environment
Suggested by Jonas Rapp – Under Review – 6 Comments
In Microsoft Dataverse it is possible to specify a theme to use for the organization/environment. This is nice when a company brand can be implemented with color scheme and logo etc. Another extremely common use of the themes is to be able to quickly distinguish between Prod/Test/Dev/etc environments in the same tenant, helping you not to make customizations in production, and other unwanted mistakes. Since the move from the classic Solution Explorer to the Maker Experience, these themes are not reflected in any way. Please bring themes back to the customizers! 😊 -

Ability to define maintenance periods that restricts logins for an environment
Suggested by Kunihiko Hayakawa – Under Review – 3 Comments
The customer would like the ability to define maintenance periods where new logins are restricted. For instance if the customer wants to perform a large data import during 7PM to 10PM each day they would like to automatically restrict access to the environment by regular users during this period.

Display more characters in record name on unified interface forms
Suggested by Joel Lindstrom – Under Review – 0 Comments
Unified interface forms only display the first 28-32 characters of the record name in the header. When viewed on a normal sized PC screen, this is too short for longer account or opportunity names. Think of when you have multiple accounts with similar names (like parent/sibling/child records). Please make this longer when viewed on larger screens, or make it wrap and honor the field label word wrap system setting.

Unified Interface: Cannot turn off "filter by related" for lookup fields
Suggested by Daniel Kang – Under Review – 4 Comments
If a lookup field is "filtered-by-related" by default AND users are allowed to remove the filter, in the web interface, users are able to look up more records on a look-up field, uncheck "filter-by-related" box, and look up all records. Users are not able to do this in Unified Interface. The "filter-by-related" must be unchecked by default in order to allow users to look up all records in the Unified Interface. I opened a Microsoft Support ticket for this: 119081224004784. Engineers acknowledged this is a feature gap.
