• Unified Interface: Cannot turn off "filter by related" for lookup fields

If a lookup field is "filtered-by-related" by default AND users are allowed to remove the filter, in the web interface, users are able to look up more records on a look-up field, uncheck "filter-by-related" box, and look up all records. Users are not able to do this in Unified Interface. The "filter-by-related" must be unchecked by default in order to allow users to look up all records in the Unified Interface. I opened a Microsoft Support ticket for this: 119081224004784. Engineers acknowledged this is a feature gap.

  • Unified Client Interface: Enable copy & paste on list saved/system views for quick referencing

In UCI, users cannot select field values from saved/system list views. For example, in the web interface, users were able to select and copy account numbers and other data values from list views for various research/investigative activities and quickly referencing records without having to open and load a record. It was a feature that we took for granted, but now that it's not working we're realizing how much we used this in various processes by various teams. Hopefully enabling text to be select-able on list views isn't too difficult. I'd imagine many others relied on, to some degree, the ability to copy values from list views.

  • UCI: Clicking pop-out button on D365 records does not return to previous screen

PROBLEM: On a D365 record, when I click the pop-out button in the bottom left corner, the screen pops the record into a new window, but the main screen changes to a dashboard view, not the previous screen. I'm presuming that most users click the pop-out button because they want to see the page "underneath" the page they popped out. EXAMPLE: From the timeline on a contact record, I create a new phone call activity. A new phone call activity loads in-place. I'd like to refer back to notes and other information on the contact record as I complete the phone call activity form, so I click the pop-out button in the bottom left corner which pops the phone call activity form in a new window. The main screen, then, loads the phone call activity dashboard rather than the contact record from which the phone call activity was created. Thank you! Daniel
  • Enable column filtering on the Quick Search "Search Result" view

As a user performing a quick search, I'd like to be able to refine the search results by applying filters to columns in the search result. Currently, the refine filter feature is available, but does not work on the Quick Search Search Results view
