Gantt chart - Resource view - it should be possible to add fundamental fields like Item number and Product name

The Gantt chart provides an option to customize the left pane view.


Users can choose to display fields such as Job Type, Resource, Operation Number, and Start/End Date Time.


Additionally, it would be very useful to include the following fields:

Enable registration of SWITCH codes

Not possible to registrer times in Production Floor Execution on SWITCH codes. This is a large hinderance for using the Production Floor Execution fully.


So far all in my business network did mitigate by either buying a third party software or do a code change of D365 SCM.

Quality Orders to be generated for each batch number produced (multiple batch numbers produced on the same batch order)

Remove the number if you have a job of type setup.

Production sequencing to extend to firmed Production and Batch Orders

Currently, sequencing is limited to Planned Batch Orders. This functionality can easily be extended to firmed batch orders. The same logic applies. It can also be extended to Planned production orders and firmed production orders.

Extend decimal precision in the Times field on an operation and resource

The 'Times' field when entering 1/60 rounds to a 4 decimal precision. This makes the result .0167. When applying this result to the time on a production order the extended value is 'off' from the expected value. For example:

15 minutes = .25 hours, BUT
in D365 15 minutes = .250...
