When a production operation is job scheduled and has multiple resources assigned [Resource load fast tab > Quantity greater than 1] and the job is released to production floor the operator is shown the full production quantity instead of calculated split quantity per job based on the number of resources specified in the Resource load quantity field.

When reporting progress against a job it appears to the operator that they have to complete the production quantity instead of the split job quantity. This could result in operators reporting more than the production quantity.

REPRO Steps

  • Create production order for 100 units
  • update resource quantity on a route operation to 2 where resource requirement = resource group (and there are 2+ resources in the group)
  • schedule production order and review All jobs form to see that a job was created for two different resources for that operation
  • release production order to PFE
  • login to PFE under each of the resources that had the job scheduled
  • the quantity for each job in PFE will be the total quantity on the production order (100) which is very confusing to the operators. There is also no visibility to the operator on what has been accomplished on the other resource.
  • Operator 1 logs and starts his job with 50, Operator 2 logs and starts his job with 50
  • When operators are reporting their individual progress they see the quantity to the completed as 100 and not their portion of the production order.
  • This still gets confusing when there is reporting done either by one operator and their individual screens show the remaining quantity incorrectly.
