Enable sales receipt email functionality at a self-checkout register
Suggested by Ben Amchin – New – 0 Comments
The current functionality for Self-checkout does not have the capability of sending email receipts to the customer. From a user experience perspective, this would prove invaluable to best service the customer on their terms.
This would use the standard email logic that the POS already uses, just extending the logic to a register marked as self-checkout.

Media server access to a non-anonymous storage container in Azure
Suggested by Ben Amchin – New – 0 Comments
Many companies have requirements to not allow anonymous access to their storage containers in their Azure tenant. This makes it impossible to use blob storage as the media server for POS images of all types.
The request is to allow the Azure blob container to allow the connection of an azure blob container that does NOT have anonymous access enabled to be used as the media server for POS images.

Paying sales invoice in POS creates customer payment journal uses the ledger account number in commerce parameters instead of store payment method ledger account
Suggested by Ahmed Wafik – New – 0 Comments
When paying invoices in Channel (POS or another channel), the customer payment transaction is not taking into account the method of payment configuration, and it is using the ledger account configured in "Commerce Parameters > Invoice" instead of the ledger account configured in the store payment methods.
Can we have a feature or flight that changes this behavior so that paying a sales invoice through POS will use the ledger account number specified in the store payment methods instead of the account specified in commerce parameters?

Income account and expense account operation should be allowed for foreign currencies
Suggested by John Philip – New – 0 Comments
Our local currency is CHF, and we have payments in CHF and EUR. We wanted to create an expense account entry which was paid out in 100 EUR. We performed the following steps to create the entry:
· Clicked on Expense Account
· Selected the Account
· Entered the amount 100 and saved
· The line got added to the cart
· Initiated payment in EUR, the currency conversion took place, and the amount was updated as 102.87
From the above behavior of the system we understood that the amount provided for the income/expense account is always in local currency and when initiating the payment in foreign currency system would apply the conversion.
So, to create the entry we tried the following workaround:
· We calculated the currency conversion manually for 100 EUR to CHF which would be 97.21
· Created the expense account for 97.21
· Initiated the payment in EUR system applied the currency conversion and updated the amount as 100 EUR and the transaction was completed.
The above workaround is not feasible as it is time consuming and there are always room for error. We have lot of stores in Europe region and there are mostly payments in local currency and EUR. It would make life simple if system could support to key in the amount in foreign currency or provide the currency conversion in the screen where the amount is entered before processing the payment.
P.S. We are also using the Income account (for cash-in) and Expense account (for cash-out) for recording cash transfers between the stores. As the tender removal and float entry operations out of the box doesn’t create any financial voucher entries in the system. So this functionality is really needed for the business for recording the day to day cash transfer transactions between the stores.

Create separate flag between POS and call center to Delay exact price and discount calculation in sales order
Suggested by Axel Auroux – New – 0 Comments
Hi everybody,
We encountered an issue with D365 F&O Retail. Unfortunetly we had to use many mix and match discount and then creating a sale order is long due to discount calculation.
In Retail, there is a flag (Manually calculate multi-line prices and discount) to delay exact price calculation when the order is completed. Unfortunetly this option is common between the call center and the POS. We don't want to delay the calculation for the POS.
Is it then possible to separate the option between the call center and the POS (in fact the functionnality profil of the POS).
It is how it should work according o the first version of the official microsoft documentation on learn site.
Thanks for your support

Cancel purchase order or purchase order line from store commerce
Suggested by Maria Cristina Selis – New – 0 Comments
implement the ability to cancel a Purchase order line or the entire purchase order from store commerce.
This is because in some businesses it is the store commerce user who placed the order and knows whether that line will ever be received or not and not the HQ user.

Avoid empty transactional statements
Suggested by Trond Djønne – New – 1 Comments
If there has only been a login on a store's POS, a transactional statement is created for the store. This statement is empty, and the posting of statements always show 'error' if an empty statement is included in the posting process. These empty statements must be manually deleted, and shouldn't be created at all.

Solutions in Power Apps
Suggested by Laureine Alhamwi – New – 0 Comments
Hello,
I hope my email finds you well.
I suggest for the Managed/ Unmanaged solution in power apps, to be able to attach/detach or turn on/off the needed solution in order to test if a solution is causing an error, behavior like soft delete, cause if I want to test the impact of a solution that someone added it and I don't want to delete it it's not doable.
Additionally, for Managed Solution, I suggest please to add the above button or behavior in order to be able to export the managed solution, cause if I used a custom managed solution that I downloaded and then I forgot where I put it, I want to be able to download it again.
Thank you.
Regards,
Laureine Al Hamwi

Add pretty price to POS transactions
Suggested by Jon Crespo – New – 0 Comments
In some scenarios it would be interest to apply pretty price to each transaction line in the POS. Or maybe to the total amount of the transaction.
We have some customers that want to use it, and the rounding of the tender type is not enough because they want to get the amount rounded to complace with the Tax Authorities.
