Possibility to have different currency on work order than on Service or Billing Account
Suggested by JANKO SVETLIK – New – 0 Comments
Given by the fact, that OOB the currency on work order has to be same as currency on service account (or the billing account respectively), we are faced the issue, that the custom solution cannot automatically create the work order, based on a quote, if the linked accounts do not have the same currency.
Â
Model situation(s):
1. The company that is being billed has child companies (accounts) with different currencies.
When user creates a work order, he wants to have INR as a currency on a work order. Service Account on that work order has INR as a currency, and a Billing Account with CHF as default currency. This causes an error when creating a work order, because Billing Account and Work Order currency are not the same.
Â
2. There is no billing account on work order (billing account is the same as service account) with CHF as a currency, but we need to set work order currency to INR, because this is billed in India and currency must be in rupees. This also throws an error because currency of Service Account is not the same as currency on Work Order.
Â
Expected solution:
There will be no limitation on work order currency and all totals will be recalculated to work order currency, regardless of currency on service or billing account.

Enable to change the booking status sequence
Suggested by Lars Bicker – New – 0 Comments
Currently it is not able that admin can adjust the sequence of booking status in the booking status. In the interest of efficiency it annoying that frequently used statusses might be at the bottom of the drop down field and less frequently used might be at the very top. The usage will differ from way of working process from company to company.
Enabling this featue will generate time savings in the work process.

Improve UX by utilising dead space
Suggested by James Everett – New – 0 Comments
The use of screen real estate in the field service applications could be much improved. Headers, sub headings, layout and empty sub-grids, all consume areas where valuable information could be presented. Enhancements to utilise the screen space more efficiently would greatly improve the user experience.
Examples:
- Schedule board view only facilitates viewing of a small number of resources at a time. With a large workforce this unintuitive to use.
- Exceptions/unscheduled bookings within the schedule board are either visible at the expense of seeing the resources, or vice versa. Removal of dead space would enable the user to see and interact with both without altering the window sizes.
- Field Service Mobile is often used on small mobile devices. Dynamic sub-grids that expand/contract dependant on number of entries and removal of dead space would help reduce the amount of scrolling and improve the user experience.

Workorder completed time record actual completed on time
Suggested by Scott Cohenour – New – 0 Comments
If a workorder is completed ahead of scheduled end time the system reverts back to store the scheduled end time in the msdyn_completedon field. This is really not a new idea but a request to fix a bug. If you want to store the originally scheduled end time then store it in a field that represents scheduled end time not the field that should represent the actual completed time.

Dashboard List Pages
Suggested by Patrick Nielsen – New – 0 Comments
After the 2023 Wave 2 release all views no longer have pages to toggle through.
It would be nice if this same functionality would exist when adding a list (view) to a dashboard.

Export Responses to PDF: Use display date format not technical format
Suggested by Romina S. – New – 0 Comments
When a technician performs an inspection and enters a date and / or time on the template, the correct format is selected. So the correct format is displayed on the template when he answers these questions. However, when we want to export the inspection report as a PDF after the inspection has been completed, the date and time are displayed in the wrong format. That is, in the technical format. This is very confusing for the user.Â
Example:
Expected date format of a completed template (not exported to PDF) - Example:
Date and Time: 11/10/2023 12:00 AM
Date: 28/9/ 2923
Time: 5:30 Am
Unexpected date format on an exported PDF - Example
Date and Time: 2023-11-10T00:00:00.000Z 2023-11-10T00:00:00.000Z
Date: 2023-28-09T00:00:00.000Z
Time: 1970-01-01T05:30:00.000Z

Allow Managed configuration for Dynamics 365 Field service mobile app
Suggested by Saad Silverchain – New – 0 Comments
Hi,
We are looking to deploy this solution across our organisation and there are certain features we would like to be enabled by default when mobile app is deployed via our EMM console to our fleet of mobile devices.
A specific feature that we are interested to have available in the managed configuration is to be able to enable "Allow offline mode". At this stage, it appears users must go into the app to enable offline mode by going into settings.
By allowing managed configuration for this app specifically for this feature will help us ensure this setting is enabled by default through our EMM console. These configuration are already enabled for several other Microsoft apps such as Outlook and OneDrive.

Schedule assistant filter search start and end date values disappear when pressing 0
Suggested by Jay Allen – New – 0 Comments
Currently when making a booking, if you need to change one of the date fields in the filter pane for Search Start or Search End and you press the 0 button to type in a time or date (eg 09/07/2023 or 09:00 AM) then the field blanks out entirely (does this for the day, month, year and hour parts but not the minutes), resetting to a blank state of dd/mm/yyyy --:-- --
It should not completely wipe the entire entry if users are trying to enter a dd format like 09.

automatically convert work order product to a customer asset and replace an existing customer asset's position in an asset tree structure OOTB.
Suggested by Maraka Harika – New – 0 Comments
For example, if the Field service engineer onsite need to change the feeding fiber, requirement is that, system should not create the new record with new product details, instead it should replace an existing customer asset's position in an asset tree structure OOTB.
Once the task is performed, currently a new record will get created with the details of newly used product and not getting added to the asset hierarchy.
Issue is that,
1. Currently customers are manually deleting the existing product details as old stock is returned to the company and expectation is that new product details should get auto updated with the existing product details.
2. Newly created record is not automatically getting linked to the parent asset, currently customers are updating manually.

Mobile footer needs more real-estate for buttons before collapsing
Suggested by Daniel McShane – New – 0 Comments
Currently on the mobile only 4 buttons on the footer are supported (including the grouped list).
This needs to be configurable or expanded to allow more based on the device being in portrait or landscape mode. For example in landscape mode (on a standard ipad) this footer could support approx 8 action buttons before needing to collapse the buttons into a list that requires additional clicks for the user.
