Asset Property - Add Target Range fields to capture Property Logs outside of the normal range

Suggested by AllThings MS New  0 Comments

    Scenario:

Technician adds a Property Log for fridge temperature of 50 Degrees F. Property Log should be flagged for (HIGH-RED) being out of the normal range of 36 Degree F to 46 Degrees F to signal to the technician to take immediate action. Out of Range property logs could be linked to knowledge articles to assist the technician.

Auto-Generate Property Logs for Work Order Incidents the way Service Tasks and Products can be generated

Suggested by AllThings MS New  3 Comments

    Scenario:

Technician is assigned Inspection/Audit Work Order and needs to capture telemetry/asset properties as for asset as of current time.

Currently, technician must manually create property asset logs and the reading time must be the created on date/time. This is too many clicks.

    Request:

The Work Order should generate Asset Property Logs based on the Asset Properties associated with Incident:

    Example:

    1. Fridge Compressor Inspection Incident Type has Temperature Asset Property and Pressure Asset Property.
    2. Work Order with Fridge Compressor Inspection Work Order Incident auto-generates blank property logs on create:
    3. Temperature: BLANK
    4. Pressure: BLANK
    5. Technician fills in the details from an editable grid or PCF similar to how Service Tasks can be completed from the FS Mobile App Service List
    6. Temperature: 98, Reading Time: Modified On
    7. Pressure: 40, Reading Time: Modified On

This would setup the possibility of having a mix of manually entered property logs and automated property logs enhanced by IoT. A "Pull Asset Property Logs" could automatically pull the readings for IoT enabled assets.

Unify Service Tasks, Inspection Questions, Property Logs onto one Inspection Form

Suggested by AllThings MS New  0 Comments

Background Technicians perform inspections where they gather data (Property Log), complete tasks (Service Task) and perform Pass/Fail tests (Inspection Question). Property Logs associated with the Asset capture deltas and trends and can be enhanced via IoT. Service Tasks acknowledge work done and time spent. Inspections Questions track pass/fails based on a setpoint or standard.

All steps need to be pre-populated on one form in the correct order the Technician checks them. The order of the steps will be determined by the process flow and could be a mix of Property Logs, Service Tasks and Inspections Questions.

Issue: The current Inspection form cannot dynamically display related Service Tasks and Property Logs, requiring technicians to change form factors during an inspection as well as requiring custom reporting to display inspection answers in a logical format.

Request: Enable Inspection designer at Incident Level.

    1. Inspection Developer determines what Service Tasks fields show on the Inspection by choosing a system form.
    2. Inspection Developer determines what Property Log fields show on the Inspection by choosing a system form.
    3. Inspection Developer drag and drop Incident Service Tasks and Incident Property Logs on Inspection designer.

Suggested by Diksha Shivran New  0 Comments

Create Booking form for Hourly view has Start time and End time mentioned.

But for Daily/Weekly view it is not present.

Requesting you to add the Start and End time to Create Booking form which will be helpful while distributing a requirement to multiple resources.

    Write-In Products

Suggested by Joe Harvey New  0 Comments

When using the "WRITE-IN" feature of adding products to an opportunity, then converting the opportunity to a WORK ORDER, none of the WRITE-IN products appear on the work order, only "price list" items appear. We regularly add items "on the fly" to opportunities (our version of a quote) then get approval, then convert the opportunity to a work order, only to learn that write-in products don't copy over to a work order, and therefore not to an invoice. So now we have to add "one-off" products to a pricelist every time. An option to have this work would be helpful. We are working on trying to create a flow to overcome this or adding a MISC product to our pricelists then attempt to change the descriptions as needed, but so far, no luck.

    Color Code Form Values

Suggested by Zackary Harwood New  0 Comments

Previously in the Resco mobile application, business rules could color code fields on the form based on field value. It would be great to have this functionality in FS, FSM, and Inspections so resources can quickly tell certain values are above or below defined logic.

Filter fields available in dashboard drill down

Suggested by Zackary Harwood New  0 Comments

When drilling down/into charts on a dashboard, all fields are listed which is cumbersome for end users to utilize. It would be more useful and user friendly if the fields available for drilldown were configurable like Power BI.

List View Search Filters Shows Only Available Records

Suggested by Zackary Harwood New  1 Comments

When filtering list vies, lookups and option set fields allow user to filter on data that isn't even available in the current view. Filters should only show values for records that are in the view to streamline the user experience.

For instance, option set called "Color" has values are Red, Green, and Blue. The current view only has records for Red and Green. When filtering the view, user should only be presented with Red and Green to filter because no records have Blue.

Suggested by Toshihiro Honda New  0 Comments

In case of an inspection jobs, workers want to see exact position of inspection point, in such a case.

So if its function has capability for embedded images like jpeg, it would be grate!

    Serialized inventory tracking

Suggested by Jeevarajan Kumar New  1 Comments

This is a quite common and important feedback from the clients. D365 FS currently lacks serialized inventory tracking where the inventory items are expected to track at individual serial number level. Currently, customers are dependent on other 3rd party add-ons for this.
