When right-clicking on a booking on the hourly view, the 'delete' button is shown

When right-clicking on a booking on the daily view, the 'cancel all' button is shown.

Both actions have different outcomes. In the first case, the booking is deleted. In the second case, the booking still exists.

Ideally, both views should have the same button. It makes no sense to change the logic depending on the hourly/daily view. Another option would be to make it possible to hide buttons on the schedule board. This way the unwanted button can be hidden.

Currently D365 does not support Encrypted PDF 417 Barcode Scanning on Android, but it does support it on iOS.

Power Apps does support this, on both Android and iOS.

Please enable progress on getting this Encrypted PDF 417 capability on the Android device in D365 Filed Service.

It streamlines the ability to scan Vehicle License Disk within the App, and not worry about using a separately licenses PowerApp to be custom built.

Schedule board should allow Multiple resources to be assigned to one Work order through Schedule board where a group leader should be able to be assigned to perform the action, Creating crews for around 100 users and 100 vehicles is a difficult task.

The table Bookable Resource Booking does not allow the use of email templates, users cannot insert email templates manually, via workflow or flow.

Customers typically need to email the resource name in the email which can only be done at the Bookable Resource Booking level not at the Work Order level.

This impact any system-generated outgoing email relate to confirming the job with the resource details, changing resource, cancellation, and job completion by the resource.

Please add to the edit filter list "is one of" where it allows you to add multiple data entries for a larger/multiple search result.

My current process has me creating 4 work orders each representing a milestone within a project. This works to replicate progress invoicing within Field Service at the cost of losing insight at the higher level in a single view.

Would it not be possible to set up a parent work order logic similar to the incident type logic is Primary (is parent); and then tie in the child work orders in the entire process. I couldn't find information from Microsoft on the intended purpose of those fields but found some from IBM which seems to I think make my idea seem reasonable?...

What you could then do is have a Parent work Order be completed only when all children are completed (if dependent), but it would also allow me to submit one quote to the client and have 4 child work orders spawn from it, see the profitability of the Parent Work Order (project as a whole), instead of only the milestones.

I understand that I'm currently using field service instead of project operations but as of now there is a minimum license requirement for project operations which is the root cause.

it would be necessary to implement a setting in the Schedule Board that considers the start time of the booking as the start on the travel.

There is currently a similar setup for the Schedule Assistant but it would also be handy for bookings created by drag and drop of requirements.

Hi Team,

We are implementing Universal Resource Scheduling for one of our client. We have noticed few limitations while developing solution with schedule board.

Requirement No 1: Client want to implement confirmation message before cancel the schedule booking item but we do not have any identifier for new status, so we are unable to implement this validation in booking rule.

Requirement No 2: Client want to implement multiple schedule board for different location and also want to implement different validation rules for different schedule board but currently we do not have identifier trigger point of schedule board, so we cannot setup different validation rules based on schedule board.

Requirement No 3: Currently, we do not have option to select multiple items to schedule at same time. We need to schedule it one by one.

According to our client business point of view, above all 3 points are very important for users to manage schedule board.

If an MT has taken longer or shorter, it'll show the actual travel done (separate from the activity) on the Schedule Board.

We would need the ability to overbook or underbook our available resource by date:

Overbook - we need to overbook the amount of appointments, often 5-15%, to account for higher non-completion rates (technical or just customer refusals), to ensure our workforce is utilised as possible.

Underbook - we need to be able to underbook, often this is between D-56 and D-28 holding back resource capacity to allow holidays and other outages to be booked.

Pot Management - be able to control what work comes in by type by date by area (or other such entity):
