Purchase of Service/Adding Service as Purchase Order Products
Suggested by Lolita Apatan – New – 0 Comments
We are a service-oriented company and despite providing services ourselves, we will always have circumstances where we need to order services.
The M365 Field Service only allows to order of inventory and non-inventory products. We believe that you should consider allowing services to be ordered also. This is not just for companies in the service industry but every business tends to order such.
We have tried changing the view from which Purchase Order Products are being listed but it doesn't allow us to have a view that includes services.
Hopefully, you consider having an update on this soon.

Modify title of filters in the schedule board
Suggested by Camille Nizette – New – 0 Comments
It would be useful to have the possibility to rename/modify the name of the filters on the schedule board..
Many customers don't use the ootb terms "Territories" or "Organizational Units".
You can rename them in the solution but if it is not aligned with the schedule board, it's not useful

Start Time & End Time for slot search in URS
Suggested by Hari Prasad Kumaravelu – New – 0 Comments
There are 2 parts to our requirement:
- To find slots based on time interval i.e. getting slots only between 12PM-2PM on each day for example.
- To find slots on specific days i.e. getting slots only on Wednesdays.
Currently we are using msdyn_SearchResourceAvailabilityForRequirementGroup API to find slots within our application. Based on our analysis, there are no options to pass in parameters to filter slots based on our requirement mentioned above.
It would be better if there are parameters that the API can accept to find slots based on the criteria above.

If User edited “TIME-OFF request” from 1hr to 2hrs(Time is just an example) from “Bookable resource” table why changes made are not showing in "Time-off request" and under "time entries"
Suggested by Ashish Elthuri – New – 0 Comments
Issue:
======
If User edited “TIME-OFF request” from 1hr to 2hrs(Time is just a example) from “Bookable resource” table why changes made are not showing in "Time-off request" and under "time entries"
REPRO STEPS
==================
-Access CRM : Any Vanilla.
-Navigate to "Field service" App.
-For example :
-Create "Time-off request" for a user for 1 hour.
-Record gets created and it will be under inactive.
-We see same changes applied on "Schedule board" and under "work hours" of "Bookable Resource”.
-Now, as record in "Time-off request" is under inactive and we cannot do any changes.
-However, we can edit the record from "work hours" in "Bookable Resource".
-Edit the "Time-off" request from 1hr to 2hrs. Which got successfully changed.
-Same changes applied in "Schedule board". However, under time-off request still show 1hr.
-From "Bookable Resource", new updated time is not added in "Time Entries" and "Time-Off" request.
TROUBLESHOOTING
==================
-Issue is reproducible in vanilla.
-Time off requests can be edited or deleted from the resource's calendar only.
-Deleting a time-off request record won't delete the time-off from the schedule board or resource's calendar.
1. User created “TIME-OFF request” for 1hr in Time Off Request
2. Which is showing in “Schedule board” and on “Bookable resource” as expected.
3. However, from “TIME-OFF request” page we cannot edit the record as it is in inactive.
4. From “Bookable resource” page we have option to edit and delete. User edited “TIME-OFF request” from 1hr to 2hrs
5. Now, from “TIME-OFF request” page we still see 1hr. Whereas, from “Bookable resource” we see 2hr and from there we navigate to “time entries” we see 2hrs.

Is there any possibility to provide a fix to this OOTB feature – considering it will end up into providing wrong data to the end user?

Field service work order integrate with contact
Suggested by Saravanakumar Narayanan – New – 1 Comments
Account selection is mandatory to create work order, all our business cases are work order related to contacts. we sell insurance products, tyre, and batteries directly to our contacts, not accounts.
we can create opportunities, and cases for a contact but I am not able to create a work order for a contact. Currently we have 2.8 million contacts and we don't want to create some dummy 2.8 million accounts for contacts.
This feature will resolve our business needs.

Enable to change the booking status sequence
Suggested by Lars Bicker – New – 0 Comments
Currently it is not able that admin can adjust the sequence of booking status in the booking status. In the interest of efficiency it annoying that frequently used statusses might be at the bottom of the drop down field and less frequently used might be at the very top. The usage will differ from way of working process from company to company.
Enabling this featue will generate time savings in the work process.

Quick
Suggested by Bérangère DUVAL – New – 0 Comments
Hello, it is necessary to make it possible to establish typologies or titles for quick reservation notemsdyn_bookableresourcebookingquicknotes
This would address the needs expressed by many clients to categorize the information conveyed by resources during their interventions with clients.
Also, most clients request that the "msdyn_bookableresourcebookingquicknote" be integrated into the PDF report signed by the client. This way, the notes could be neatly listed along with their typology. For example: work completed - work needed before the next intervention - information to be communicated to the sales team, etc.

Opportunity to Work Order Process
Suggested by Martin Fux – New – 0 Comments
Currently a Work Order needs to fulfill multiple conditions with regards to currency to be created without errors:
- Transactioncurrency must be the currency of the Billing Account (note that by default behavior the Billing Account field is filled with the Service Account by OOB functionality if left blank by the user)
- Price List must be in the currency of the set as transactioncurrency of the Work Order
- Price List in Work Order Type must be in the currency of the transactioncurrency of the Work Order, if the Price List is empty on Work Order Type OOB functionality tries to set NULL as Price List in Work Order
All these automations cause issues when you have customers that regularly pay in different currencies. The decision of our customer is based on
- from which of our subsidiaries they purchase
- if there is a frame agreement in place for the products / services they purchase; the frame agreement fixes prices in a specified currency
- financial considerations of our customer (i.e. better x-rate or cash availability in one currency than another)
The problems that arise are as follows:
- When user changes Work Order Type and the Price List is empty in Work Order type or not in the same currency as in the Work Order error message pops up; means either we need one Work Order Type per currency (approx. 100), making it 900 Work Order Types instead of 100 or we need to prevent user from changing Work Order Type
Suggestion: if the Price List field on Work Order Type is NULL, just ignore it, don't try to overwrite what is in Work Order already.
When creating a Work Order from Opportunity the following happens due to the setup described above
- Customer in Opportunity is in base currency
- Opportunity is NOT in base currency, but in currency A
- Opportunity Price List is in currency A
Suggestion: when creating Work Order from Opportunity with the OOB functionality there is an error message warning me about the currency inconsistency
Suggestion: the currency of the Account in Opportunity (which becomes the Service Account and the Billing Account) should not be used to check for inconsistencies. Or there should be a setting in which the administrator can allow the inconsistency
This is also a topic for the announced Quote to Work Order functionality.
Remark: when creating a Quote and then a Sales Order from an Opportunity the only check with regards to currency is that the Price List currency is the same as the currency of the Opportunity, Quote, Sales Order respectively. This behavior would also be good for Work Order.
