In the OOB grid for time entries, creating a new entry opens a quick create form.
Let's click Save & Create New in the quick create form.

Display for tasks when importing resource on Time Entry
Regarding importing resource on Time Entry, if a task on a project record sets 0 on duration, the task is only displayed on that task start date and finish date is ignored.
Users might miss and cannot import the proper task due to this behavior when importing resource on Time Entry.

Right now the only fields in the TimesheetLines REST API are:

This capability is in the modern PRoject Operations. Time entry hours are in the API and external integrations are possible to integrate time entry hours.
