• Real Time Marketing - Provide More Information about Contacts InFlow of a Journey

    In Outbound Marketing customer journeys, you can click each tile and retrieve a list of Contacts at that step.

    In Real Time Marketing, we see the number of Contacts "InFlow" but we do not know what Contact is where in the journey. For example what Contacts entered the journey? If there is a Yes/No branch - which Contacts followed Yes vs. which Contacts followed No?


    The only Contact information I can find is if someone was sent an email. I can click on the email tile and then get interactions which show me a list of Contacts sent, delivered to, blocked, etc.


    Ideally I would click a tile, like Branch, and see that Contact A & B entered the branch. Contact A went down the Yes path and Contact B went down the No path.

  • Real Time Marketing - Reporting & Insight Enhancements Needed

    Here are several suggestions for enhancing the Real Time reporting & analytics available:


    1. Always Show the Report, Regardless of Interaction Numbers
    2. Regardless of whether an email has been sent to 1 Contact or 500 Contacts, the report should show data. Today, if the email was only delivered to a few Contacts, the report shows "There's not enough data to create a report."
    3. Increase Refresh Rate
    4. Today, Real Time Marketing reports get "refreshed every few hours". Outbound Marketing reports do not take this long. We would like to see faster refresh rates. It is kind of ironic that the new feature is called "Real Time" but reporting takes longer than Outbound.
    5. Provide Additional Reporting Data
    6. Today, Outbound Marketing has a large variety of insights available. Take for example an email. You have multiple tabs with multiple charts. In Real Time Marketing, an email has very little insight information available. You only get "Delivery trends". We would like to see as much data as Outbound provides if not more. Each type of asset should have its own report with tabs and charts like there is today.
  • Real Time Marketing - Email Editor - Add Option for Paste "Keep Text Only"

    If you use a Microsoft application, like Word, you can right click and choose to paste as "Keep Text Only". This allows you to paste content and keep the same formatting as whatever line or area you are in.


    The clear formatting feature is nice, but in many scenarios - the content within the email has been formatted beyond General Settings. For example, a Header that is a different color and size than the general body content.


    It would be very helpful to be able to paste as text only - so that the content reflects the formatting that you have your cursor next to.

  • Real Time Marketing - Event Triggers - Allow Us to Send Related Entity Record vs. Single Field Value Attribute (like Standard Triggers)

    Standard Triggers, created and provided by Microsoft when you install D365 Marketing, allow us to access an entire related entity record and not just a field value. For example, the Event Registration Created trigger gives us access to the related Event record to pull all kinds of information about the Event.


    Please enable/allow us to do this in Custom Event Triggers as well. Today, when you create a custom event trigger - you add/define a set of attributes. Those attributes map to single field values and is limited to 8 (I think) attributes. Unfortunately, there are times where this is not sufficient and we need a lot more information.


    When we create a new custom event trigger - and we add attributes - please allow us to add related entity records as well. For example: my custom event trigger notifies me when a Contact has a question about an event. I would like it to pass me their most recent related Event Registration record, the related Event record of that Registration, the related Session records, etc.

  • Real Time Marketing - Advanced Personalization - Enhance List Feature

    Can you enhance the List feature in Advanced Personalization for Real Time Marketing emails to allow us to apply filters to the list?


    For example, I want to display all active offers (not all offers).


    Or in my case - I want to display all enrollment records in a 'New' status and whose Create Date was in last 24 hours.

  • Real Time Marketing - SMS - Support or Add MMS Functionality

    Please add support for us to send MMS and not just SMS. MMS will allow us to include links and images in our text messages.

  • Real Time Marketing - SMS - Assign & Respond to Inbound SMS

    In most cases, we hope to use automated responses to keywords. However, there will be many cases in which an inbound SMS will need reviewed and replied to manually.


    In an ideal world, we would have an inbound SMS view that shows the Contact it is from, the phone number it is from, the first X characters, the date/time, an 'Assigned To' contact field. When you click on a record, it would have the full message, details, history of SMS with the phone number it was from, and a button to 'Reply'.


    When an inbound SMS is received that does not match a keyword, we would assign the inbound SMS to a related Contact in D365 Marketing through a Journey. That Contact would be a D365 user who could login, see inbound SMS assigned to them, open a record, see the history, and reply manually.


    The reply would be from the number the original message was sent to.

  • Real Time Time Marketing - SMS - Default Country Code Setting

    In Outbound Marketing, we had the option to set a default country code. This would be added to phone numbers that were sent SMS messages if a country code did not exist.


    Real Time Marketing does not have this setting - so phone numbers in D365 MUST have + and Country Code in them or texts are not sent/received and we get errors.


    I would like to propose 2 ideas for this:


    1. Like Outbound, in Settings, give us the ability to set the default country code.
    2. And/Or - Allow us to designate a Country field on the Contact/Lead. Based on that field, please use the appropriate country code when sending an SMS. By default, this could be based on the standard field Address 1 Country field on a Contact (same with Lead)
  • Real Time Marketing - SMS - Option for Deduplication on Text Messages

    By default, D365 Marketing will only send 1 email to 1 email address - even if there are multiple Contacts in the Journey with the same email. I believe this is called Deduplication - and there is even a setting to override it.


    Today in Real Time Marketing, SMS is not deduplicated. Meaning, if I have 100 Contacts in a Journey with the same phone number - 100 SMS will be sent to the same number.


    We would like an option to deduplicate SMS in real time marketing.

  • Real Time Marketing - SMS - Add Inbound SMS / Keyword Replies to Contact Timeline

    Love that you can see outbound SMS in the Contact Timeline for Real Time Marketing.


    Can you also display inbound SMS, like keyword replies, to the Contact Timeline?
