    FRA FEC report -

Suggested by Alina Ciocoiu New  0 Comments

As per France documentation on JournalCode from FEC report :

"the journal code refers to the coding used in accounting software to reference the different journals. These codes can consist of numbers, letters, or a combination of both."

Currently in Dynamics we only implemented the us of letters. If the Journal Code is defined in the Number sequence to include Numbers or Letter+Numbers it will report Blank or only the Letter part on the FEC report.

Request is to allow using numbers or combination of numbers and letters as mentioned in the France documentation: https://bofip.impots.gouv.fr/bofip/9028-PGP.html/identifiant%3DBOI-CF-IOR-60-40-20-20170607

In Fixed asset module, please allow user to link the major type with a default financial dimension.

Suggested by Alfie Ta (Tek Experts) New  0 Comments

Whenever users create a new fixed asset, they need to manually fill the financial dimensions - cost ID, cost centre etc which requiring more time and work from them to perform and monitor the task.

It would help to reduce the human error in the task if the system allows user to link the financial dimension to the major type of fixed asset, so they can be populated automatically on its financial dimension on its book.

Revaluation report from AP and AR is not generated when D365 session expires

Suggested by Veronika Hoskova New  1 Comments

There is a functionality of Revaluation in Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable. The people from Business need to know from the auditor reasons which Exchange rate was used when revaluating. The only possibility how to get this information is to generate revaluation report which can be set up within Revaluation setting form by activating the toggle "Print". There is NO POSSIBILTY TO REPRINT the report in case the user forgot to switch on that Print toggle. And there is also no possibility to pull out that Exchange rate additionally by adding it as a new field within the list of transactions generated afterward. So there is only one option to get that report.

You first have to set the parameters within Revaluation setting form, you switch on the toggle Print and afterward there is a new window/form where you can set the parameters for printing revaluation report. Once this printing parameters are set up and confirmed, the revaluation is taken place and the report is generated.

BUT - if you set up parameters for revaluation and then you let the D365 session expire without setting up the parameters for report printing (the second setup form required), because for example there is a lot of data, it´s taking a long time and you are paying attention to other tasks, then the system skips the printing option form and performs the revaluation without generating the revaluation report (and the report can´t be reprinted again).

In our company there are dozens of LEs and for some of them the revaluation is taking even more than one hour because of the big volume of data. And users can´t be paying attention to one open D365 page so it doesn´t expire. We would strongly need to have a possibility of RE-PRINTING the report.

A table/ feature needed to monitor documents that fail to export through Print management destination

Suggested by Katie Nguyen New  0 Comments

The issue reported pertains to the Print management destination set as SharePoint. The customer utilized the Batch invoicing feature in Accounts Receivable to process multiple sales orders and send the resulting invoices to SharePoint. However, when handling a high volume of sales invoices, some failed to export to SharePoint without any record in the system. This required significant manual effort from users to identify the missing invoices. A table or feature is needed to track this data within the system effectively.

    Deferral Recognition Impact on Budget

Suggested by Jessica Lee New  0 Comments

In the deferred PO, the original encumbrance records disappear after invoicing. Then, it leads to budget release and potential budget overruns.

Please consider for monitoring the encumbrance records post-Invoice in budget control.

Add sales tax code to suitable address entity

Suggested by Mikael Algeroth New  0 Comments

In several scenarios in the EU you need to be able to set the tax code on an address level including a address specific tax registration and that's covered by standard. However, there's no standard entity for importing/exporting that data which is very unfortunate when setting up new legal entities or migrating data from legacy solutions. Hence, it would be a great help to just add such a standard entity making implementation and data management easier.
