  • Include Production order created from Item requirement in Project Committed costs

    Hi,

In the following 2 scenarios, where we create Production Order from Item requirement, while having PMA parameters: Committed costs OFF for Item requirements, ON for Production orders

S1 - Project Item requirement - Net requirements (Master planning) - Production order

S2 - Project Item requirement - Create Production order

the Committed cost is not being tracked.

It is only tracked when Committed costs for Item requirements are also ON - but the desired behavior is that Committed cost is tracked as well ONLY when it is ON for Production Orders.

    Thank you!

  • FRA FEC report -

As per France documentation on JournalCode from FEC report :

"the journal code refers to the coding used in accounting software to reference the different journals. These codes can consist of numbers, letters, or a combination of both."

Currently in Dynamics we only implemented the us of letters. If the Journal Code is defined in the Number sequence to include Numbers or Letter+Numbers it will report Blank or only the Letter part on the FEC report.

Request is to allow using numbers or combination of numbers and letters as mentioned in the France documentation: https://bofip.impots.gouv.fr/bofip/9028-PGP.html/identifiant%3DBOI-CF-IOR-60-40-20-20170607

  • Italian localization - Payment traceability feature

As per Italian localization - Payment traceability - Finance | Dynamics 365 | Microsoft Learn the inheritance is only happening when using Payment proposal.

When the Payment process is not using Payment proposal, but instead Settlement process, the CIPE/Tender values are not inherited from the original transaction.

The requested is to extend the inheritance to other processes as well.

    Thank you!

  • User cannot add a new sale, or quotation, line on a call center order for items with category

As per https://fix.lcs.dynamics.com/Issue/Details?kb=0&bugId=715615&dbType=3&qc=5855f10fe3d955c3c1612df2333550099a68dcca8926ea151a0339dcdea4bd1e for retail orders, a Product (Item ID) selection is required for order creation and price calculation

    • The warning will be thrown if the call center user adds the line with ONLY Sales category
    • If the line has an Item ID and Sales category or you are using a sales hierarchy and have items associated with sales categories – this scenario is considered valid and will not throw the warning message
    • Pricing engine can calculate order / quotes as long as Item ID is provided.
    • We are showing a warning to customers, so they will be aware we do not support sales quotation/order with sales category (only).
    • Customer does have a customization that allows to use Sales category and as per current design correctly receiving the warning message. The request is to have this Warning message removed, as it is confusing for the users.

  • Create Vendor Payment Proposal process improvement

Following the process under https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/dynamics365/finance/accounts-payable/create-vendor-payments-payment-proposal manual or by using Process Automation:

    • If Check Vendor balances is checked – the Balance on the Vendor as displayed under Vendor Balance is the one the system validates against and not based on other transaction criteria/selections
    • As long as the Vendor has a Credit Balance, no payment is created
    • In terms of Credit Balance – this will mean credit memos, or payments that have been posted but haven't been settled yet. The system will take those into account until they are settled.

From a business process perspective the following changes will add more value to the process:

    • The scenario of receiving a credit note paid back which you just put on Vendor, but not settle the real invoice should also be handled by the Payment proposal process
    • For a company, where most of the invoices are approved very late, you have to remove all the lines that are coming in the payment proposal manually.
    • The validation not to be made at Vendor balance level, but at Payment proposal Level, by adding an extra control, if the sum of lines for each vendor account is positive, the lines should be erased

By that you should get much better functionality and not need to work as much with credit notes.

Idea raised on behalf of customer Fujitsu.

    Thank you!
